Via Popverse, during an appearance on a Twitch channel called NerdIncorrect, Maslany responded to the question of another season saying, “I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ‘No thanks.'” The first season reportedly cost $225 million to produce, largely because of its several CG lead characters.
