– Despite their initial claims that all of their ‘Rebirth’ books would be priced at $2.99, DC has announced that 16 of their titles will be moving to $3.99 per issue as of April. Essentially, all of the non-twice monthly ‘Rebirth’ books are going to cost an additional dollar, but will also carry with them a free digital copy of each title, a practice that Marvel recently did away with. While this not good news by any stretch, it is showing DC’s attempt to give the fans something for that extra dollar, even if a digital copy might not be the most attractive incentive.

– We reported a few weeks ago that Ike Perlmutter, CEO of Marvel Comics, has been tapped as an advisor to President-Elect Trump on veterans’ affairs. This role is, almost contradictorily described as both ‘informal’ and ‘significant,’ but won’t require Perlmutter to step down, or shift responsibilities at Marvel.

– Paul Dini is returning to his most famous creation as the new co-writer of backup stories in “Harley Quinn,” starting in April. The stories will be co-written by Jimmy Palmiotti (who is co-writing the main title with Amanda Conner) and illustrated by Brett Blevins.

– R. Crumb is a fascinating guy, and he recently was interviewed about a number of the world’s most powerful and famous people, specifically Fidel Castro and Donald Trump. If you’re at all familiar with Crumb, you probably won’t be shocked to hear that he doesn’t really have a problem with Trump making horribly misogynistic comments.

– Dark Horse is getting set to publish a new How to Train Your Dragon original graphic novel, and the AV Club has a behind the scenes look at the book.

– We’ve talked before about the upcoming issue of “The Walking Dead” that will cost only 25 cents; well, now you’re going to be getting almost 2 pages per penny, with the book ballooning to 40 pages.

– Sorry all you Blaze-heads out there, it looks like Johnny Blaze is done on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Ghost Rider is dead; long live Ghost Rider.

– There’s a trailer for the new Injustice 2 video game, which reveals that both Brainiac and Darkseid will be a part of the game.

– And, finally, Christopher Farnsworth and Antonio Fuso are bringing the new 24: Legacy characters to IDW in a prequel comic.
