– Marvel Entertainment debuted the first teaser for The Avengers Project, the first in a series of games to be produced thanks to a multi-game, multi-year partnership between Marvel and Square Enix. The Avengers Project is being produced by Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics and Deus Ex developer Eidos-Montreal. We will begin to get more news for this and other yet-to-be-announced games in 2018.
– A Brooklyn comic shop has devoted an issue of its comics newspaper to women’s voices. The issue, title “Resist!”, was distributed at marches across the United States in wake of the January 20th election.
– It has been reported that Warner Bros has ordered a complete rewrite of The Flash by King Arthur: Legend of the Sword scribe Joby Harold. This will be the third re-write of the original script produced by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
– Black Panther has officially begun production. Along with the release of an official synopsis, Marvel has confirmed the return of Martin Freeman as Everett Ross, Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaw, and John Kani as King T’Chaka.
– Red Stylo Press has announced that it will be producing “Baroque Pop”, an anthology series featuring a collection of stories inspired by the music of Lana Del Rey. It will be produced by Mario Candelaria, and will debut at C2E2.
