– Marvel will celebrate the 60th anniversary of Nick Fury with “Fury,” an oversized one-shot written by Al Ewing, featuring art by Scott Eaton, Tom Reilly, Adam Kubert, and Ramon Rosanas. Segments will explore a different era of Nick Fury Sr.’s life, from the Howling Commandos during World War II to today, while the framing device will see Nick Fury Jr. being targeted by a new villain using the name Scorpio. The 40-page “Fury” will be released on May 24, roughly 60 years after Nick Fury Sr.’s debut in “Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos” #1 (released March 5, 1963, but cover dated May 1963.)

– Per Polygon, a new edition of “The Sandman,” called “The Sandman: Morpheus Helm Masterpiece Edition,” which will contain a leatherbound, six-volume reprint of the series (including “The Dream Hunters,” “Endless Nights,” and “Overture”), enveloped by a 15-inch replica of Dream’s helmet. It will also contain art prints by Michael Wm. Kaluta, and a new story by Neil Gaiman in the shape of a letter, “written” by a 19th century individual who encounters the package. “The Sandman: Morpheus Helm Masterpiece Edition” will retail for a whopping $500 on November 14.

– Via Variety, Amazon Prime Video has ordered an animated version of Scott Snyder and Jock’s “Wytches” to series. Published by Image in 2014, “Wytches” is a horror miniseries revolving around Sailor Rooks, a teenage girl who moves to a remote town with her family after a tragic accident, and who slowly uncovers the truth behind witch folklore. Snyder commented, “Jock and I are deeply grateful to Plan B Entertainment, Kevin Kolde, and Amazon Studios for believing in ‘Wytches’ and giving us a chance to make this show dark, personal, twisted, and very special.”

Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3 has been confirmed to consist of two hour-long specials, the first of which will premiere in Japan on March 3. The second will conclude the anime sometime later this year. Launched in 2013, Attack on Titan began its fourth and final season in late 2020. The season’s second cours aired early last year, leaving only nine chapters of the manga left to cover.

– Following what Take-Two Interactive admitted was a disappointing financial performance, a demo of Marvel’s Midnight Suns has been released for PlayStation and Xbox users, allowing them to play the video game for three hours. If players subsequently decide to purchase the game, then all progress will be ported over. However, while the demo is available to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S players for free, it is only available to PlayStation 4/5 owners if they’re subscribed to PlayStation Plus Premium.

– Finally, folks around Hollywood have been spilling the beans on the road not taken with various comic book adaptations: The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace disclosed the final season might’ve had an episode or two resolving Legends of Tomorrow‘s cliffhanger if it had not been shortened to 13 episodes; Brendan Fraser talked to Howard Stern about how close he came to playing Superman in the early 2000s; and Elizabeth Banks revealed she approached Marvel to direct Thor: Ragnarok. A clip of Ironheart star Dominique Thorne auditioning to play Shuri in the first Black Panther movie (with the late Chadwick Boseman) also went viral after its inclusion in the latest edition of Disney+’s Marvel Studios documentary, Assembled: The Making of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
