In case you missed it, Marvel announced a new “Juggernaut” miniseries. Also, Archie Comics shared the news that Editor-in-Chief Victor Gorelick has died at the age of 78.

— Marvel revealed the cover and solicitation information for “2020 iWolverine” #1, a new miniseries from Larry Hama and Roland Boschi. Available in May, its two issues will focus on Albert, Wolverine’s robot doppelgänger.
— In an exclusive with The Beat, BOOM! shared that it will release “The Encyclopedia Lumberjanica: An Illustrated Guide to the Hardcore Lady-Types of Lumberjanes” by Susan Coiner-Collier. The illustrated book will be a “look into the lives of the lady-types that the Lumberjanes have taken as their role models – along with fun facts and humorous insights from the Lumberjanes themselves!” It debuts in September 2020.
— Marvel revealed the covers for its two Free Comic Book Day titles. The first is “X-Men,” featuring a brand new story by Jonathan Hickman and Pepe Larraz, and another by Tom Taylor and Iban Coello. The second comic is “Spider-Man/Venom,” which includes two new stories leading into upcoming issues of “Venom,” “Amazing Spider-Man” and “Black Cat.”
— The release date for “Giant-Size X-Men: Magneto” #1 has been pushed back a second time, according to Marvel. Originally solicited for a March 4 release date, fans can now expect the one-shot on shelves April 29. But not to worry, Marvel is making up for it by releasing “Giant-Size X-Men: Nightcrawler” #1 three weeks earlier than its original solicitation date. The one-shot by Jonathan Hickman and Alan Davis will be available March 25.
— Marvel teased its “most ambitious series” ever on their Twitter account. The teaser included the names of Kurt Busiek, Alex Ross, and Yildiray Cinar, as well as a May 2020 release date. No further details have been announced.
— DC teased a new villain named Punchline set to appear in “Batman.” The character, designed by Jorge Jiménez, will be the Joker’s new sidekick. DC shared art of the new character, as well as scenes leading up to her big debut in this month’s “Year of the Villain: Hell Arisen” #3.
— The Doctor Strange sequel has a new writer, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Michael Waldron, head writer for the Disney+ Loki series, will now reportedly be working on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Sam Raimi is also said to be in negotiations to direct the feature film.
— At last night’s Academy Awards, Joker won Best Actor for Joaquin Phoenix, and Best Original Score for Hildur Guðnadóttir. This is the second time an actor has won an Oscar for playing the Joker, following Heath Ledger’s posthumous win for The Dark Knight in 2009. — Finally, Hellboy, Dark Phoenix, and Joker are among the nominees for the 40th Golden Raspberry Awards. Also known as the Razzies, the awards celebrate the worst films to be released this past year. Rotten Tomatoes has the full list of nominees.
