– BOOM! Studios has unveiled the upcoming graphic novel “Eighty Days,” from writer/artist A.C. Esguerra. The book follows Jay, who wants to fly more than anything in the world, until he meets a mysterious thief named Fix, who draws him into the ongoing conflict against the aviation guild. Now, Jay has to rationalize the growing conflict between his lifelong dream and the prospect of love. “Eighty Days” will be published via BOOM!’s Archaia imprint, and marks the debut graphic novel from A.C. Esguerra, winner of the 2016 Prism Comics Queer Press Grant. It will be published in August.

– Boba Fett is geared up and ready for action in a new teaser image by artist Steve McNiven. Donned in blacked-out gear with a battle-damaged wall behind him, the notorious bounty hunter looks ready to take on any threat. No information was given for this potential new Marvel Comics story except for the tagline “Boba Fett… Nowhere to hide.” With a blaster in one hand and a deadly spear in another, only time will tell when and where Boba Fett strikes next.

– Original Avatar: The Last Airbender co-creator Bryan Konietzko is returning to the world he helped create through an upcoming Dark Horse project. The artist, who also co-created Avatar: The Legend of Korra, revealed via Instagram that he will be drawing a cover for an upcoming book depicting Korra in traditional water tribe attire, including a heavy, winter coat. This would seem to imply that the book will have Korra going on an arctic adventure. Dark Horse has been publishing graphic novels based on both Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra since 2012.

– Fans of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba can rejoice with the announcement that the hit anime and manga franchise will be getting a new anime series, titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yūkaku-hen (Entertainment District Arc in English). The new season will be directed by Haruo Sotozaki, who also directed the original season of the show. The “Demon Slayer” manga series ran from 2016 through 2020, and has become the second best-selling manga series of all time for publisher Shueisha, behind only “One Piece.” The recent anime film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train is the highest-grossing Japanese film in box office history.

– Matthew Inman, creator of “The Oatmeal” webcomic series, has released a new mobile word game called Kitty Letter. The game involves a unique mix of word puzzles and combat mechanics. Players spell words with various letters that move across their screen, which allows them to send adorable armies of cats towards their opponents in an attempt to destroy their bases. This is not the first time that Matthew Inman has ventured into the world of games. In 2015, he teamed with game designer Elan Lee to create the board game Exploding Kittens. The game is available for free on Apple and Android.

– Finally, director Zack Snyder has confirmed that there is a black-and-white cut being developed for his upcoming Justice League film. Justice League, which is set to be released through HBO Max on March 18, has been the subject of much speculation and controversy, both from fans and from producers at Warner Bros. Snyder did not say when and where this special Justice is Grey Edition of the film will be available, but did say “that to me is the most fan-centric, most pure, most Justice League experience.” You can watch the latest trailer for the film here.
