In case you missed it, Dark Horse Comics announced “Trout: The Hollowest Knock,” and we have an exclusive preview of next week’s “Conan the Barbarian” #4.

– Archie Comics announced “Archie: The Married Life 10th Anniversary,” a six issue mini-series from writer Michael Uslan and artist Dan Parent that follows on from 2009’s “Archie” #600. In that landmark issue, two versions of Archie were presented as respectively marrying Betty and Veronica, and the series will pick up with both worlds. The series debuts sometime this summer.

– Serial Box, the digital book delivery service, is partnering with Marvel Entertainment and adding Marvel’s superheroes to their offerings. Black Panther, Thor, Black Widow and Jessica Jones will be having more stories appearing through the Serial Box weekly service from writing talents including Aaron Stewart-Ahn (Mandy), Brian Keene, Jay Edidin, and Yoon Ha Lee. Independent comics writer Alex De Campi is “editing/showrunning” this series of four short novels.

– On Sunday, March 10th, selected Red Cross Blood donation centers are celebrating the upcoming anniversary of Buffy the Vampire Slayer with Buffy-related giveaways. BOOM! Studios, one of the participating providers, will provide copies of the currently sold out “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” #1 with an exclusive cover to the participating Red Cross locations, for those donating blood and platelets while supplies last.

“Resident Alien” from Dark Horse Comics has been picked up for adaptation by SYFY. The science fiction detective drama will feature Alan Tudyk, from Firefly and Rogue One, as an alien with a secret mission stuck on Earth in a small town in Colorado.

– After seven months, Kerry McCluggage has stepped down as the CEO of IDW Holdings, the parent company of IDW Publishing. Howard Jonas, the IDW board Chairmain and biggest stockholder, has stepped in to take over the position.

– Cartoonist Milton Knight, one of the animators for Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, was the victim of a racially motivated hate crime. He wrote about the abusive treatment that landed him in the hospital via his Facebook account on Monday. You can help Knight by donating to his GoFundMe and Patreon pages.

– Nintendo added a second comics App for the Nintendo Switch. Izneo, already available on iOS and Android, boasts a catalogue of 25,000 titles, mainly manga and Korean webtoons.

– DC Comics is offering retailers a store branded version of ‘The Year of the Villain’ $.25 issue. This special to order variant will carry a store logo on the cover and feature a store advertisement and information on the back.

– Actor Tyson Ritter will be a series regular when Preacher season 4 starts. The All-American Rejects frontman plays the dual role of Humperdoo and Jesus on the show, and is expected to take a more central role in the upcoming season.

– Finally, a second trailer for Neil Marshall’s Hellboy movie was released: you can watch the uncensored version here, and the censored one here. The R-rated reboot hits theaters April 12.
