In case you missed it, DC unveiled the first round of books and creators for their new Black Label imprint, Jon Favreau was announced as the showrunner for the new Star Wars live action TV series, and Netflix is the new home of Rob Liefeld’s Extreme Studios universe.

– Today’s Entertainment Weekly issue featuring Avengers: Infinity War has 15 interlocking covers. The covers, depicting 22 different heroes and Thanos, form the Avengers symbol when combined. The issue itself contains the details of an exclusive set visit, interviews with the stars, and many other MCU-related features.

– Garfield will star in a new four-issue series from BOOM! Studios, titled “Garfield: Homecoming.” The comic is written by Scott Nickel (“Eek!”) and drawn by Sara Talmadge (“Garfield 2016 Summer Special”), who has a decidedly very different take on Jim Davis’s lazy orange cat. The book sees Garfield run away to join the circus, and will start in June.

– Telltale Games’s Batman: The Enemy Within will have two different finales when it concludes later this month with “Same Stitch,” the fifth episode. Depending on players’ choices over the course of the season, John Doe can evolve into two incarnations of an iconic Batman villain.

– Fox series Gotham is adapting two huge Batman story arcs for this season: ‘The Long Halloween’ and ‘No Man’s Land.’ The move had been hinted at previously, but star Cameron Monaghan confirmed it in an interview with ComicBook.com. No real details were revealed about their plans, however.

– Bronson Pinchot (Perfect Strangers) has joined the cast of Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” adaptation. He will play “George Hawthorne, Baxter High’s villainous, Puritanical principal.”

– Author Ace Atkins is adapting his novel, Crossroad Blues, as a graphic novel with artist Marco Finnegan for Image Comics. The first book in the Nick Travers series is a “thrilling tale of crime and mystery that brings the history of the blues and the Mississippi Delta to life.” The graphic novel debuts in comic shops on April 25, and bookstores on May 12.

– BOOM! Studios is releasing an adult coloring book from the cartoonist behind “Maakies” and “Sock Monkey” called, “Tony Millionaire’s Sea Monsters Coloring Book.” The book will contain “40 black and white illustrations with spyglass-like detail ” of “everything imaginable above and below the high seas .” BOOM’s Archaia imprint will release the book in September of this year.

– Writer Kyle Higgins is returning to his filmmaker roots with the short film The Shadow Hours, and will debut it at this year’s WonderCon. The film will also be available to stream on IGN.com on March 26. Higgins previously made The League, a 2008 short film that was later adapted with artist Rod Reis for Image Comics as “C.O.W.L.”

– John Byrne used the news of Chris Ryall’s departure from IDW to announce that his “Star Trek: New Visions” series (which uses screencaps of the original TV series) will be coming to an end after issue #24.

– Valiant Entertainment has found a new editor in Karl Bollers. Bollers is a long-time editor, colorist, and writer, including writing a recent issue of “Archer & Armstrong.”

– Brian Michael Bendis isn’t the only exclusive creator leaving Marvel for DC. After 14 years at Marvel, artist Mike Perkins is also making the transition. Perkins has not revealed which books he’s working on.

– Michael Moreci and Vic Malhotra’s “Roche Limit” is being adapted for TV by Syfy. The network has ordered a pilot from writer (and prospective showrunner) Will Pascoe (Orphan Black).
