– Well, that escalated fast: after teasers over the past two days, we finally have a title, a full character list, and half of a creative team for the new X-book. “Astonishing X-Men,” written by Charles Soule, and featuring a team made up of Bishop, Fantomex, Mystique, Psylocke, Archangel, Gambit, Rogue, and Old Man Logan. No artist has been announced yet, but the promo image was drawn by James Cheung.

– Well, it’s not Janelle Monae, but Zazie Beetz (Atlanta, Easy) will be playing Domino in Deadpool 2. Ryan Reynolds made it official today, after a number of actresses, including Kerry Washington, were rumored over the past few weeks. Domino will join Cable in Deadpool 2, and most likely in X-Force.

– IDW CEO Ted Adams is launching his own comic, “Diablo House,” drawn by Santipérez, which will debut as part of a Humble Bundle deal, before dropping properly in June.

Preacher has added six new actors, supposedly. While their credits are certainly well-known (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Game of Thrones, Fargo), the names are not instantly recognizable, at least not to this writer.

– In a move that seems to be teased by every company every year, Marvel will begin advertising in movie theaters soon.

– James Mangold has revealed, via an interaction with a fan on Twitter, that the ending of Logan was, more or less, revealed in The Wolverine. Well played, sir.

– Comics Alliance has an interesting look at what a Nightwing film might mean for Roma representation.

– And, finally, get ready for some of your favorite cereals to get an injection of Justice League.
