In case you missed it, “DC Super Hero Girls” is getting a reboot, and Critical Role has announced a new “Vox Machina” comic and art book.

– The popular webcomic “Ophiuchus” is coming to print for the first time this August. The day-glo drenched, cybernetic Young Adult/Teen adventure by Alexis Leriger de la Plante, and Natasha Tara Petrović, will be collected in its entirety and released in a single graphic novel from Image Comics. “Ophichus” will be available for purchase in comic stores everywhere August 21, 2019.

– ReedPOP, the event producer behind pop-culture events like Star Wars Celebration and Emerald City Comic-Con, made a couple of large announcements. First, they announced a new fan-to-fan ticket exchange platform for their events. The service comes out of a new partnership with Lyte Inc. and allows fans who may have missed their initial opportunity to get passes to purchase them from others who have returned their previously purchased ones. You can read the entire press release here. ReedPOP has also acquired Florida SuperCon. The event will be led by C2E2 and New York Comic Con director Kristina Rogers alongside ReedPOP’s vice-president, Mike Armstrong.

– Paul Pope’s “Heavy Liquid” comic series is getting a 20th anniversary re-release through Image Comics in the form of a new trade paperback. The new TPB will feature “Heavy Liquid” #1-5 and a newly remasted coloring by Pope. The 20th anniversary edition of “Heavy Liquid” will be available for purchase in comic stores June 19, 2019, and at bookstores June 25.

English language film rights for the Chinese comic book series “Teddy Boy” have been optioned by Pulse Films and Andrew Lau, the director of Infernal Affairs. Written and illustrated by Kai-Ming Man, with inks by Yu-Kwok Lun, “Teddy Boy” follows protagonist Ho-Nam Chan as he rises through the ranks of the Hong Kong Triad hierarchy. The comic also served as the source material for Lau’s movie franchise Young and Dangerous.

– Michael Ealy (Being Mary Jane) and Mark Webber (Green Room) have been cast in the upcoming ABC pilot, Stumptown. The series is based on a comic book series of the same name by Greg Rucka and Matthew Southworth, and will star Marvel Cinematic Universe veteran Colbie Smulders in the leading role of Portland PI Dex Parios. Ealy will play PPD detective Miles Hoffman, and Webber will portray Dex’s best friend Grey McConnell. Adrian Martinez (Blacklist) has been cast as Tookie, another series regular.

– Lucy Hale (Pretty Little Liars) has been cast in the titular role of The CW’s Riverdale spin-off, Katy Keene. The show will follow four classic Archie characters including Hale’s Katy Keene and Josie McCoy, to be played by Ashleigh Murray (Riverdale).

– Finally, Netflix have announced some new anime projects, including a new version of Hiroshi Takashige and Ryōji Minagawa’s manga “Spriggan” (known as “Striker” in English), and an adaptation of Mark Millar and Leinil Yu’s heist series “Supercrooks.” Spriggan will be produced with David Production (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure), while Super Crooks will be animated by bones.inc (Fullmetal Alchemist, My Hero Academia).
