In case you missed it, Sophie Campbell’s “Wet Moon” will return and wrap up this November, DC dropped new details on “The Unexpected,” and AfterShock Comics will launch “Lost City Explorers” this June.

– Nicolas Cage will finally get to play Superman in this summer’s Teen Titans GO! to the Movies. USA Today has the news Cage will join singer/songwriter Halsey (who will play Wonder Woman) and rapper Lil Yachty (who will play Green Lantern) as part of the movie’s Justice League. Cage, an enthusiastic Superman fan, was supposed to play the character in Tim Burton’s infamously derailed 1998 Superman movie, Superman Lives.

– “MIND MGMT” creator Matt Kindt announced the first of what he says is many new “MIND MGMT” stories to come. You can pre-order the first new story, a limited edition comic printed using riso printing, at Kindt’s website.

– Not content with just one Robin, DC’s upcoming Titans TV show will apparently be introducing Jason Todd late in its first season, according to The Nerdist. There’s no news on who will actually play the black sheep of the Bat-family just yet, just an episode title and some conjecture.

– We have more details on Bravo’s planned TV miniseries based on Vivek J. Tiwary, Andrew C. Robinson and Kyle Baker’s graphic novel “The Fifth Beatle: The Brian Epstein Story,” namely that Tiwary himself will script the adaptation. More importantly, comes word from The Hollywood Reporter is that Tiwary has access to the John Lennon-Paul McCartney song catalog, meaning it will be the first Beatles biopic with their music.

IGN examined whether Marvel’s continuing trend of incredibly steep digital discounts, including this week’s massive Comixology sale, will end up hurting the publisher and its creators in the long run.

– Former “Suicide Squad” writer Adam Glass teased a return to comics with “Teen Titans Special” #1. The writer tweeted out what’s presumably a cover image by artist Robson Rocha, featuring Kid Flash, Robin, and Red Arrow. No other details have been announced.

Comic Book Resources wrote up a nice retrospective on what departing “The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl” artist Erica Henderson brought to the series and why Henderson’s take on Doreen Green and friends will remain so memorable. In case you missed it, Henderson announced her departure from the book last week.

CBR also has word Sony has brought Spike Lee in to direct its fledgling Nightwatch movie, which will likely wind up part of the studio’s Spider-Man universe. According to the same reports, Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker has already developed the movie’s script.

– HarperCollins imprint Balzer + Bray will publish Magdalene Visaggio and Jenn St-Onge’s “The Oija-Wojja: A Teen Horror Mystery or Whatever, You Know?,” a queer-positive graphic novel starring an autistic protagonist. Publishers Weekly has more details on the graphic novel’s planned 2021 release.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has cast actor Joey Defore as a young Baron Von Strucker, reports Newsarama. While an older version of Strucker previously appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Age of Ultron, the character has never appeared on Agents before. Young Strucker hits the small screen on March 30.
