In case you missed it, Dark Horse announced new horror comic “Bedtime Games,” Marvel is set to launch a ComiXology and Kindle-exclusive Spider-Man story set in the webhead’s teenage years, IDW is bringing back “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Bodycount,” Somos Arte and DC are teaming to raise money for Puerto Rico with a new anthology, and “Rex Royd” will finally get a proper ending.

Empire unveiled its six Avengers: Infinity War-themed covers for May, featuring a mix of your favorite Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and other MCU mainstays, including Infinity War big bad Thanos. The Marvel-centric issue will include exclusive Infinity War set pics, a sneak peek at Ant-Man and the Wasp, and a mini-magazine detailing the decade of Marvel films that led up to Infinity War‘s release.

– A new graphic memoir from writer Camille de Toledo and illustrator Alexander Pavlenko will compare and contrast the life of Israeli founding father Theodor Herzl with the story of Ilia Brodsky, a boy who escaped Russia’s anti-Jewish pogroms. Ynetnews has more details on the book, titled “Herzl: A European History,” as well as a brief interview with Toledo and Pavlenko.

– Marvel and Freeform released a new trailer for the upcoming Cloak and Dagger television series, which you can watch over at Comicbook.com. The trailer promises that one of the series’s protagonists won’t make it out alive; you’ll have to tune in to Freeform starting June 7 to find out which.

– Newsarama reports that comedian and Modern Day Philosophers podcast host Danny Lobdell will self-publish an autobiographical comic, the first issue of which details his friendship with comics legend Harvey Pekar. For more details on the book, titled “Fair Enough,” and an extended interview with Lobdell, click on over to Newsarama.

– Adam Croasdaell (Reign) and Prema Cruz (Mozart in the Jungle) are set to join season 3 of AMC’s Preacher, according to Deadline. Croasdell will play Eccarius, the regal and charming 350-year-old vampire, and Cruz will play Madame Boyd, a tough, educated, and attractive businesswoman. Both characters are set to recur.

– Marvel’s “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” is set to jump into reality with mixed media, photo-based covers for issues 32 through 36. Notably, the covers see Moon Girl and Devil Dino walking past the Marvel offices, and the Wrecking Crew busting up a real-life construction site. Marvel unveiled the covers, as well as the real-world photos they’re based on, over at their website.

Bleeding Cool ran down the many artist switches and delays involved in DC’s New Age of Heroes line, the latest of which is a change to “Sideways” #5’s art team (in which Robert Gill will replace Kenneth Rocafort). The artist-first imprint has already lost most of the artists it started with, and it’s unknown whether those artists will be back to illustrate subsequent issues. Bleeding Cool also ruminated on the fate of the Falcon and Miles Morales, given the upcoming cancellation of those heroes’ titles.

– The Marvel section of Disney California Adventure will open in 2020, io9 reports. New Marvel-centric areas and attractions will also be launching in Hong Kong and Paris, the details of which are not exactly known at present, though Hong Kong Disneyland seems set to gain an Ant-Man and the Wasp-themed ride.

Japanese newspaper The Mainichi has word that the Japanese government is considering measures to shut down websites offering free access to pirated manga. Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga notes that manga and anime, particularly, are vital Japanese economic resources, and piracy is hurting creators’ bottom-lines.
