In case you missed it, “Parasomnia” was announced by Dark Horse Comics, and BOOM! Studios announced “Good Luck.”

– Writer Chris Condon and artist Jacob Phillips announced that “That Texas Blood” will be returning for its second arc in June. The solicit details that the arc is called ‘Eversaul, 1981,’ and will see Joe Bob remembering one of his first cases, which involved a missing girl, a cult, and the mysterious Harlan Eversaul. “That Texas Blood” #7 is scheduled for June 30th, with a cover by Jacob Phillips and a variant by Marc Aspinall. You can see the variant here.

– Marvel Comics revealed that Spider-Man’s rogues gallery will be featured across variant covers in June. The unveiled covers include Declan Shalvey’s depiction of Immortal Hulk fighting Rhino, Daredevil clashing with Shocker courtesy of Greg Land, and Rose Besch’s rendering of Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus. To see the currently revealed covers, the full line-up of hero and villain clashes, and the list of artists and the issues they will feature on, head over to Marvel.com.

– After last week’s announcement of this year’s Free Comic Book Day Gold and Silver sponsor titles saw DC Comics notably absent, facilitator Diamond Comics Distributors have said they “welcome their participation. Any questions on the specifics of their plans should be directed to DC but Diamond is happy to support their participation where possible.” Nancy Spears, the VP of Sales and Revenues at DC, commented last month that the publisher would still partake in the event. Last year, DC Comics stopped using Diamond as their distributor and switched to Lunar Distribution and UCS Comic Distributors for their monthly issues and Penguin Random House for their collected editions. This year’s iteration of Free Comic Book Day will mark its 20th anniversary, but has been delayed until August 14 from its usual first Saturday of May.

– AMC announced the development of a digital original Fear the Walking Dead tie-in series called Dead in the Water. The series will tell the story of a submarine crew trapped onboard their vessel at the start of the apocalypse; it is the same submarine that is beached in Galveston, Texas, which Morgan Jones (Lennie James) has the keys to in the series’ ongoing sixth season. Jacob Pinion will be writing the series, while Fear showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg produce alongside The Walking Dead Universe CCO Scott Gimple. Fear the Walking Dead season 6 is set to continue on April 11, while Dead in the Water is currently unscheduled.

– Amazon’s untitled The Boys spin-off has added Shane Paul McGhie (Deputy), Aimee Carrero (Elena of Avalor) and Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters) to its cast. All three will serve as leads, with character specifics being left under wraps. The previously announced Lizze Broadway and Jaz Sinclair make up the rest of the current cast. The series will be set in Vought International’s college for Supes, which tests the students’ physical, sexual, and moral boundaries whilst they compete for contracts. The spin-off is being written by the executive producer of The Boys, Craig Rosenberg, with Eric Kripke, who developed the original series for TV, serving as an executive producer. The series has yet to receive a formal green light, and, as such, a release date for the series is not set.

– WB Games Montréal announced that the upcoming Gotham Knights has been delayed until 2022. In a statement, they detailed that the delay is to ensure the delivery of “the best possible experience for players,” with more of the game set to be showcased “in the coming months.” The open world, co-op game, which will feature Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl and Red Hood protecting Gotham following the death of Bruce Wayne, was announced last August at DC FanDome. It had been previously been set for release on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, and PC at an unspecified date this year.

The New York Times reported on the impact that Facebook’s artificial intelligence systems and human moderators are having on cartoonists. With many cartoonists lampooning political figures and groups, satirical posts are often being taken down due to their perceived breaches in Facebook’s content policies. Whilst individual posts being banned is damaging, the larger fear, as “The Nib” creator Matt Bors explains, is that cartoonists’ pages could be erased if a large tally of infringement strikes is accumulated against them. Facebook have responded to the issue, stating that posts relating to hate groups and extremist content have to condemn it, or take a neutral base for discussion purposes, otherwise the posts have the potential for significant real-world damage. The social media company did not state whether it has difficulty identifying satire in its content moderation system.

– Finally, actress Wallis Day, who portrayed Nyssa-Vex on Krypton, has joined the cast of Batwoman as the new Kate Kane. The role was originally played by Ruby Rose, who left after the first season, leading to the character to be written out and replaced by Javicia Leslie’s new Batwoman, Ryan Wilder. We’ll share our thoughts on the character’s return in last night’s episode with our column later today.
