In case you missed it, the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo was held over the weekend, and you can follow our coverage here: of particular note was Lion Forge’s new series “Army of One,” as well as Marvel’s announcements for “Absolute Carnage,” Jonathan Hickman’s X-Men series, and “Death’s Head.”

– BOOM! Studios announced “Go Go Power Rangers: Forever Rangers,” an oversized special issue of Ryan Parrott’s series, illustrated by Eleonora Carlini and Francesco Mortarino. Due out in June, the comic will act as the “epic conclusion” of Parrott’s first “Power Rangers” title, where “the Power Rangers face off against Alpha 1 and the reveal of Rita’s true plan; [and] a familiar newcomer whose arrival in Angel Grove will change everything.” Parrott’s “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” run will also begin in June.

– Idris Elba is set to join Fox’s Mouse Guard movie, based on the anthropomorphic BOOM!/Archaia series by David Petersen. Elba will don a motion capture suit to play Celanawe, a legendary champion who has retreated into seclusion. The film, directed by Wes Ball and also starring Andy Serkis and Thomas Brodie-Sangster, is set to start production in May.

– Artist Joyce Chin was hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm at Chicago Airport, where she flew in to attend C2E2: she collapsed, fracturing her ankle, and subsequently underwent emergency brain surgery. C.B. Cebulski stated at Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel that she is “doing much better.” Bleeding Cool reports Chin and her family, including husband Art Adams, will be staying at their hospital in Chicago for the next two weeks, until she is stable enough to return to California. Multiversity wishes Chin and her family all the best.

– Meanwhile, Sean Gordon Murphy is auctioning pages from the upcoming “Batman: Curse of the White Knight” to raise medical funds for Heather Hurt, the social media manager of the Amazing Comic Shop in Fairfax, Virginia, who recently underwent a minor heart procedure. You can bid on Murphy’s art on eBay here and here, or donate to Hunt’s GoFundMe page.

– Chelsea T. Zhang (Andi Mack) has been cast in Titans season 2 as Rose Wilson/Ravager, the resentful daughter of Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (played by Esai Morales), who allies with the Titans to get back at her father. Rose Wilson was created by Marv Wolfman and Art Nichols, and first appeared in 1992’s “Deathstroke” #15. Zhang will also act opposite Chella Man as her brother Joseph Wilson/Jericho.

– DC Universe also announced they will mark Batman’s 80th birthday by making various Caped Crusader-related titles free to stream on Sunday, March 30: the full list, which includes choices as varied as the Michael Keaton films and Justice League Unlimited, can be read here. Those who sign up during the 24-hour promotion will only have to pay 80 cents for their first month at DC Universe.

Runaways cast member James Marsters announced at this weekend’s Lexington Comic & Toy Con that the Marvel series has been renewed for a third season. “I probably just broke all kinds of Marvel rules,” he quipped. Deadline subsequently confirmed Runaways season 3 will consist of ten episodes, down from the previous 13-part seasons. Runaways season 2 was released by Hulu in its entirety on December 21, 2018.

– Nintendo Life reports the characters from Lionsgate’s Hellboy movie reboot will join Ubisoft’s free-to-play platform fighter Brawlhalla. Hellboy, Nimue, Gruagach, and Ben Daimio will join the game’s roster sometime in April, around the time the film bows in theaters on April 12.

– At the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, Avengers: Infinity War was voted Favorite Movie, while Robert Downey Jr. was named Favorite Superhero, and Riverdale won Favorite TV Drama. You can read the full list of winners and nominees at The Hollywood Reporter.

– Finally, to mark the release of the last episode of Telltale’s The Walking Dead tomorrow, we asked you to pick your favorite Telltale comic book adaptation. “Fables” prequel The Wolf Among Us won with 47.6 percent of the vote, followed by The Walking Dead: Season One with 28.6 percent, and Batman: The Enemy Within at 9.5 percent. (Batman will remember that.)
