In case you missed it, Bad Idea announced a comic that will only be available for one day called “Hank Howard, Pizza Detective in Caligula’s Safe,” while Curt Pires announced three comiXology Originals, including a second season of “Youth.”

– The team behind “Spider-Man: Life Story,” writer Chip Zdarsky, artist Mark Bagley, colorist Frank D’Amarta, and letterer Travis Lanham, announced they will be reuniting for a one-shot for the series called “Spider-Man: Life Story Annual” #1. It has not been revealed who will be inking the one-shot, with the original series alternating between inkers John Dell and Andrew Hennessy. The one-shot will tell Spider-Man’s real-time life story from the perspective of J. Jonah Jameson, with Zdarsky stating that the “problem with the miniseries was that I didn’t have the room to properly tell” Jameson’s story. “Spider-Man: Life Story Annual” #1 is scheduled for August 4, with a new hardcover collection including the original six issues and the one-shot following later in the year.

– Marvel Comics postponed all of its Predator products until November, with orders for the new “Predator” series, the “Predator” omnibus edition, and the series of ‘Marvel vs. Predator’ variant covers all being canceled. The new ongoing “Predator” series set to be written by Ed Brisson, with artwork by Kev Walker, was only announced on March 18, and was scheduled for release on June 9. A reason for the delay has not been revealed, with the delayed products yet to be specifically rescheduled.

– Marvel also delayed the final two issues of Gerry Duggan and Phil Noto’s “Cable.” “Cable” #11 has moved back five weeks and is now set for June 30, while “Cable” #12 has moved back four weeks and is now scheduled for July 28. When the finale is released, it will see “the past and future of Nathan Summers… finally collide in a game-changing confrontation,” which according to Marvel’s official description, “will set this iconic character on a new path.” “Cable” #10 has not been delayed and is still scheduled for April 28.

– Artist Elsa Charretier and writer Pierrick Colinet, who collaborated together on “The Infinite Loop,” launched a new YouTube series called Case Study, where the pair will deconstruct some of the best sequential storytelling in comics to “share their love of the medium and their professional knowledge of the field with comic book fans and aspiring creators.” The first of the weekly episodes focuses on a single panel by David Aja from “Hawkeye,” which he collaborated on with writer Matt Fraction and colorist Matt Hollingsworth. The next episode will release on April 9, with its subject artwork yet to be revealed. You can watch the first Case Study here.

– Following the announcement that Black Widow will be released in cinemas and on Disney+ Premier Access on July 9, Marvel Studios released a new trailer for the film. The trailer teases the revelations of the “mistakes” that Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) made before she was an Avenger or had her to-be-introduced-family, detailing that she has to go back to “where it all started.” The aforementioned family of Black Widow will consist of Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, David Harbour’s Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz’s Melina Vostokoff. You can watch the trailer here.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure was confirmed to be returning for its sixth season by David Production. The series, which is an adaptation of Hirohiko Araki’s manga of the same name, has lined up the ‘Stone Ocean’ arc for its sixth season. In the manga, ‘Stone Ocean’ sees Jolyne Cujoh framed for murder, and her estranged father Jotaru getting his memories and Stand stolen by the Stand Whitesnake when he tries to free her. Alongside the production announcement, Ai Fairouz was revealed to be voicing Jolyne for the upcoming season. A release date has not been revealed at this time.

Star Wars fansite Wookieepedia found itself at the center of controversy following a vote to change its editorial policy. The change in the editorial policy was to allow for a real-world person who has worked on Star Wars media to be “titled by their chosen name and the credited name turned into a redirect,” to be inclusive of people who are transgender and have changed their name since the release of their project, rather than referencing them by their birthname (a process known as deadnaming). The change in policy was prompted by trans non-binary artist Robin Pronovost, who worked on the Topps trading cards and Star Wars Insider, amongst other projects, after they were deadnamed by the site “despite giving sources and reasons for wanting the change.”

The change to policy was subject to a vote with a two-week voting period, as all of the editorial policy decisions at the site are, though given the subject of the change, many individuals were upset by the necessity of a vote at all. Ultimately, the controversy reached the site’s owners, Fandom, who have since intervened; they closed the vote and enforced the change to the editorial policy, citing that it supports the company’s Terms of Use banning transphobic content. The accounts that were banned had their restrictions lifted too. Wookiepedia also released a statement apologizing to Pronovost, which you can read in full here.

– Finally, actress Gloria Henry, who played Dennis the Menace’s mother Alice on the 1959-63 sitcom, passed away on Saturday, April 3. Henry, who was born in New Orleans on April 2, 1923, had just turned 98 the day before. Her credits also included Perry Mason, Newhart, Silver Spoons, Dallas, Mr. Belvedere, and Doogie Howser, M.D. She was married twice, and had three children — Jeffrey, Adam, and Erin — from her second marriage to Craig Ellwood. Adam Ellwood stated on social media that she “passed peacefully” at her home in Los Angeles, surrounded by Erin, Jeff, and her hospice care nurse.
