– Following the release of the official Kingsman: Golden Circle trailer this week. Mark Millar announced via his Twitter account that a new “Kingsman” comic titled “Kingsman: The Red Diamond” will be released sometime in September.

-The CWs Riverdale dropped a bombshell for the fans of the series. They will finally get a look at Hiram Lodge, the mysterious and ruthless father of Vernoica Lodge starting in Season 2. Hiram Lodge will be played by ionic actor Mark Consuelos, famous for his role on All My Children.

-NBC has removed Powerless from its lineup for the next two weeks putting the show and its future in question. The show was a midseason replacement for NBC, and we’ve been covering it each week.

-With Free Comic Book Day right around the corner Marvel’s FCBD Secret Empire comic has already been leaked and made it into the hand of many fans. “Secret Empire” kicked off earlier this month with Issue #0. Issue #1 arrives in stores May 3, three days ahead of Free Comic Book Day (May 6). The nine-issue event will conclude in August.

– Warner Bros. and developer Miral Asset Management have debuted the best look yet at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, revealing sections devoted to DC Comics superheroes, Looney Tunes and Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters. Warner Bros. World will feature six themed lands: Warner Bros. Plaza, Gotham City, Metropolis, Bedrock, Cartoon Junction and Dynamite Gulch. Attractions in the DC part of the park include a Joker Funhouse, Riddler-themed roller coaster, skyscrapers of Metropolis, and a Hall of Justice.

-The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm announced today two major upcoming release dates: Star Wars: Episode IX is now set for release on May 24, 2019. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the film will close out the third Star Wars trilogy. Also announced was the fifth chapter of the Indiana Jones series. It has been confirmed to have a July 10, 2020 release. Steven Spielberg, director of every Indiana Jones film, and star Harrison Ford are set to return.
