In a tweet, writer Dan Slott announced that his Iron Man run is set to end following the conclusion of “Iron Man 2020” #6. In the thread, Slott thanked his collaborators, co-writers, and editorial team. Slott’s run began in 2018 with “Tony Stark: Iron Man,” which he wrote 17 of the 19 issues leading up to the ‘Iron Man 2020’ event series. “Iron Man 2020” #6 is currently due for release on June 24.

Newsarama has the press release for Alt Free Comic Days on May 1st and 2nd. The event includes a series of panels available to stream on Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, and YouTube in lieu of the cancelled Free Comic Book Day. Current guests include Marv Wolfman, Kevin Eastman, Richard Starkings, Sandy Carpenter, and more. Registration is free.

The Hollywood Reporter announced BOOM! Studios’s Day One Retailer Support Service Program, which will “extend discounts through mid-May and offer full returnability on unsold material through late August, in addition to making rare variant cover editions of existing titles available for retailers to use as they see fit.” Filip Sablik, President of Publishing and Marketing at BOOM! said, “We know that comic shops will reopen their doors soon on the schedule that’s right for them, so our Day One Retailer Support Service Program is built to provide each one with everything they need to make that first day incredibly successful.”

Newsarama reported that Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC) has offered over $150,950 in aid to 135 U.S. comic book store owners. 722 comic book stores have applied and new applications are still being processed.

Newsarama also reported that the #Creators4Comics charity campaign on social media has raised $433,166 for U.S. comic book shops. Organized by Kami Garcia, Brian Michael Bendis, Gwenda Bond, Sam Humphries, and Phil Jimenez, the five-day campaign saw items and exclusives auctioned by comic book creators for individuals to bid on, with the winning bid donated directly to BINC.

Humble Bundle announced a new bundle for “The Walking Dead” with Image Comics and Skybound Entertainment. Digital copies of the trade paperbacks are available at different tiers with proceeds available to donate to BINC.

– In television and film news, Deadline revealed an animated Transformers prequel movie is in the works from Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley. The film, a collaboration between Hasbro’s entertainment studio eOne and Paramount, and penned by Ant-Man scribes Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, will explore Optimus Prime and Megatron’s relationship before the war for Cybertron.

DC Comics tweeted the digital release date (5/5) and Blu-ray release date (5/19) for the animated film, Justice League Dark: Apokolips War. The film is an adaption of ‘The Darkseid War’ story arc from Geoff Johns’s “Justice League.” The film is also the final in the DC Animated Movie Universe (38th overall).

From Newsarama, ABC released the season 7 trailer for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which will feature time travel to the 1930s and Chronicoms previously introduced in season 6. The final season of the show begins May 27th on ABC.
