– Dark Horse will rerelease Tom Siddell’s webcomic “Gunnerkrigg Court” in print this November. The NCS/Reuben Award-winning series, which began in 2005, follows Annie, a newly orphaned girl who is enrolled at the titular boarding school. There, she and her new friend Kat encounter ghosts, forest gods, and other supernatural phenomena, in stark contrast to the scientific thinking she is receiving from the school. The series was originally published in print by BOOM! Studios imprint Archaia Entertainment, but the new edition will receive updated interior art, plus new cover art. The first volume, which will retail in paperback at 586 pages for $29.99, will be released in bookstores on November 5, and comics shops the following day. A limited edition hardcover version, featuring a signed tip-in page, will also be available for $79.99.

– In further reprint news, Image announced a complete paperback compendium of Rick Remender, Jerome Opeña, and James Harren’s “Seven to Eternity” (releasing in comics stores on September 11, and bookstores on September 24), and a 20th anniversary hardcover edition of Remender, Eric Nguyen, Opeña, and Peter Bergting’s “Strange Girl” (out December 18.) BOOM! Studios, meanwhile, unveiled “Cursed Pirate Girl: Malodious Mutiny,” a new volume of Jeremy Bastian’s infrequent series, collecting 2015’s annual, and 2022’s one-shot “Cursed Pirate Girl: The Devil’s Cave.” It will make port in comics shops on September 18, and bookstores September 24.

– Vault Comics revealed limited deluxe editions, and a line of merchandise for Pete Wentz, Hannah Klein, and Lisa Sterle’s upcoming graphic novel “Dying Inside.” The variant copies, which you can check out at ICv2, include glitter, glow-in-the-dark, and “dark mode” covers, while the merchandise will include custom Skullcandy headphones, clothing, tote bags, enameled pins, and stickers. The publisher also announced the book will receive original music by pop punk duo Daisy Grenade (who are signed to Wentz’s record label), whose track you can hear in the trailer. “Dying Inside” will be released on September 17, with a Free Comic Book Day issue dropping beforehand on Saturday, May 4.

– Speaking of music for comics, Timbaland will co-produce an original soundtrack for the upcoming Z2 Comics graphic novel “Neon Empire,” and executive produce a TV version of the book. The book, due out later this year, is a collaboration between Z2 and Audio Up Media, that tells the story of fictional country rap (or hick hop) star Kountry Boi. Timbaland will write the soundtrack with Audio Up founder Jared Gutstadt, which will include various artists, including Bezz Believe as the voice of Kountry Boi. Readers will be able to activate the soundtrack via QR codes dotted throughout the book.

– Warner Bros. announced a new Arkham VR game, Batman: Arkham Shadow. Releasing exclusively on the Meta Quest 3 later this year, the game is being developed by Camouflaj and Oculus Studios (Iron Man VR) instead of main Arkhamverse developer Rocksteady Studios, and will see Batman apparently pursue Ratcatcher at some undisclosed point in the Arkham timeline. A full reveal will follow at the Summer Game Fest on June 7. It marks the second VR game in the series following 2016’s simply named Batman: Arkham VR, and the second Arkhamverse game of the year after Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

– Amazon MGM and Mattel Films have confirmed Travis Knight will direct the new live-action Masters of the Universe movie, and announced that it will be released worldwide in theaters on June 5, 2026. The film, written by Knight’s frequent collaborator Chris Butler, will follow a version of Prince Adam/He-Man who crashlanded on Earth as a 10-year old boy, and returns to his homeworld of Eternia after recovering the Power Sword. It will arrive 39 years after the first live-action MOTU film, starring Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella. In the meantime, Knight and Butler’s next film, the stop-motion animated Wildwood, will be released sometime next year.

– Airbnb have launched Icons, a new category of experiences inspired by film, music, and more, which includes a promotional recreation of the X-Mansion from X-Men ’97. The mansion, which is actually located in the X-Men’s canonical home of Westchester County, New York, is hosted by “Jubilee,” and will allow guests to explore Cerebro, the Danger Room and more. You’ll be able to stay in Jubilee, Wolverine, or Beast’s bedrooms, or in a general dormitory, all rendered with a 2D animated-style paint job. Requests to book will close at 11:59pm Pacific Time on May 13, 2024. As part of the promotion, you can also call 914-361-5397 to listen to a phone message from Jubilee herself. X-Men ’97 is now streaming on Disney+, and you can read our thoughts on the series so far here.

– Finally, Marvel Studios announced the Infinity Saga Concert Experience, a pair of Los Angeles Philharmonic performance featuring music from the MCU’s first 23 films. The concert will be held at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, August 30, and Saturday, August 31, where the music will be accompanied by mapped projections of footage from the films. Tickets are currently available to Hollywood Bowl subscribers and multi-show purchasers, while tickets for everyone else will go on sale at the Hollywood Bowl website or through their phoneline on Tuesday, May 7, at 10am Pacific Time. (However, Marvel loyalty program subscribers will receive an email with a presale code today, May 1, at 10am Pacific Time.)
