– It was announced over at USA Today that IDW will be bringing back Hasbro’s M.A.S.K. property in a new series. The series will be written and illustrated by Brandon Easton and Tony Vargas and promises Fast & Furious-like vehicle-based action so that’s something to look forward to.
– Check out James Harvey’s examination of Frank Miller’s recent work and how he believes DC has paired him with colourists who don’t know how to work with his material. I think it’s a pretty interesting discussion and while it doesn’t suddenly make me a fan of Miller’s, I think it’s important to discuss what colouring styles are matched with pencil styles.
– Over at CBR, Grant Morrison talked about his upcoming run as Editor-In-Chief of “Heavy Metal” and, as is standard with Morrison interviews, it’s a pretty interesting read.
– The Hollywood Reporter is citing The CW’s Riverdale as a pilot that’s likely to see a full series order so watch this space for more news on that.
– Also on the TV side of things, the new Star Trek TV series will be shooting in Toronto this fall. This could be very exciting.
– So… Space Jam 2 is happening. And Lebron James is attached to star. And Justin Lin is attached to direct. What a world we live in.
– Have you ever wanted to know how many times people say “this city” in Marvel’s Daredevil? It’s a lot. Like a lot. Also spoiler alert for Daredevil Season One.
