– Marvel Comics announced that they are official joining the comiXology Unlimited Subscription service. The list of Marvel books include a mix of titles like “Runaways” and “Civil War,” ongoing series like “All-New Wolverine,” “Elektra,” and even a handful of “Star Wars” comics. As part of this new arrangement, Marvel will also have graphic novels available on Amazons via the Kindle Unlimited service. Full list of available titles can be found here.

– The first teaser for Marvel Television’s Inhumans on ABC has been released. The series is still being filmed in Hawaii. Inhumans’ two-part season premiere will debut in IMAX theaters September 1, before its television debut on ABC September 26.

– The Alamo Drafthouse line of theaters has announced a screening of Logan Noir, the black and white version of the final Hugh Jackman X-film. It is billed as a one night only event. Including in the special screening is an exclusive livestream Q&A with director James Mangold.

– Todd McFarlane has announced that he has completed the first draft of an R-Rated Spawn film. McFarlane announced via video that the first draft came out to 136 pages and that he intends to trim it down to 120 pages for Hollywood. McFarlane also estimated that an official announcement would come sometime near San Diego Comic-Con.

– Steve Bissette And Rick Veitch are looking to raise money to help Swamp Thing co-creator Bernie Wrightson’s widow, Liz Wrightson. The team is offering rare, signed The Dark Knight. Reeves take on the Caped Crusader is that of “…a tortured soul who is grappling with his past and trying to find a way to be in a world that has a lot that’s wrong with it and trying to find a way to reconcile all of that.”

– The first teaser for the film adapation of the Stephen King novel, and Marvel comic, The Dark Tower has been tweeted by stars Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba. The first full-length trailer is set to drop Wednesday.

– Not to be outdone, Marvel and Netflix have released a teaser trailer for The Defenders. Not to give away anything, but it does contain spoilers and is worth a view!

– Finally, one of Marvel’s PR folks, Chris D’Lando has left Marvel, effective May 1. As one of the sites that Chris worked with, we will miss Chris’s good humor and hard work. Best of luck, Chris!
