– Marvel’s Memorial Day tribute tweet has garnered harsh criticism from fans due to the current ‘Secret Empire’ event. The Tweet depicts Captain America standing proudly in front of the American flag, yet the outpouring from fans has chastised the image for being insensitive since the current iteration of the character is a Nazi.
-The live-action Tokyo Ghoul adaptation has debuted a poster. The poster features a tagline of “Humans are no longer at the top of the food chain,” which is fitting given the cannibalistic nature of the source material. The film is set to be released in Japanese theaters on June 29 with no American release date scheduled.
– A hardcover collection of popular independent comic “Henry & Glenn Forever & Ever” is on its way. “Henry & Glenn Forever & Ever: The Completely Ridiculous Edition” will collect the all twenty short comic stories by Tom Neely (“All Crime Comics,” “The Humans”) in one place for the first time. The comic’s story follows the domestic life of the titular characters, who are based on musicians Glenn Danzig and Henry Rollins. The comic series has already sold over 100,000 copies of its previously released forms.
– Antarctic Press has solicited a new series, “Anya,” from Sofia Savila And Minjun Chen. The book is due in August.
