In case you missed it, Vertigo and Valiant announced their new titles for late 2018/early 2019, Dark Horse revealed their adaptation of “Mystery Science Theater 3000,” and Marvel unveiled “Asgardians of the Galaxy.” BOOM! Studios also announced “Low Road West,” and we received an exclusive cover by Rachael Stott for this month’s “2000 AD Prog 2086.”

– Funimation Films and Toho have announced that the world premiere of My Hero Academia: The Movie (My Hero Academia: Two Heroes in Japan) will be at Anime Expo 2018, which is held from July 5-8th in Los Angeles. This is the first film for the hit manga “My Hero Academia,” created by Kōhei Horikoshi, and will debut in US theaters in the fall.

– Rupert Murdoch is “no longer set” on selling 21st Century Fox TV and Film assets to Disney, according to Goldman Sachs analyst Richard Greenfield. Previously, a deal had been made between the two companies for $52.4 billion, but now Greenfield reports that Murdoch wants the “most dollars” that he can get for the assets, inviting other bidders such as Comcast, into the fray.

Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker tweeted the titles for all 13 episodes of season two. Similar to season one, where all the titles were named after Gang Starr tracks, all of the episodes are named after Pete Rock & CL Smooth songs. Season two will be released on Netflix June 22nd.

– Jeph Loeb, Head of Marvel TV, did a Reddit Q&A. In there, he confirmed Iron Fist season two will be released on Netflix later this year; that New Warriors and John Ridley’s project was still in development; and expressed hope the Inhuman Royal Family could return on another show. He also said Avengers: Infinity War won’t affect most of the shows, explaining, “A lot of that has to do with production and when we are telling our stories vs. when the movies come out. So hang in there. I remember in the comics, one of my favorite stories was the KREE-SKRULL war… which was universal, but in X-Men, no mention. Huh. And it all worked out in the end!”

– Marie Javins has replaced Brian Cunningham as the Group Editor of DC Comics’ “Justice League” line which includes “Justice League,” “The Flash,” along with the titles to be released next month, “Justice League Dark” and “Justice League Odyssey.”

– DC Comics have invited retailers to open at midnight on July 4 to release the DC items for that week, to celebrate the release of the milestone comic “Batman” #50. Meanwhile, Mike Shoemaker, producer of Late Night with Seth Myers, announced that writer Tom King will be a guest on the show on June 12th.

– Two vegan artists have created a graphic novel cookbook. The cookbook is by Valentine Gallardo, who worked on the story and illustrations, and Jonathan Beaton, who also worked on the story and provided the vegan recipes. The recipes themselves are intertwined with the story of the book, with the recipes being for the food and drink characters have.

– A cartoonist for the Guardian had their cartoon rejected for having “Nazi overtones,” and has responded with an angry email. The cartoon, drawn by Steve Bell, depicts British Prime Minister Theresa May and her Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu sitting in front of a fireplace. The Palestinian medic Razan al-Najar, who was shot and killed on June 1 by an Israeli soldier, is burning in the fireplace. Steve Bell denied “dragging” any “nazi-related [sic] nonsense” in the cartoon in his email.

– Palestinian cartoonist Mohammed Sabaaneh was detained by Israeli border-control forces when he tried to return home to Ramallah. Sabaaneh had been returning from an international cartooning festival in Belgium last week, when he was detained for five hours and had one of his key works confiscated. He had previously been arrested and detained by Israeli forces in 2013 after returning from a trip to Jordan.
