Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– The Legion series has been ordered by FX for an eight episode season. The show, whose first official image was released yesterday, centers around David Haller, a schizophrenic patient whose hallucinations may or may not be real. The series is inspired by the X-Men character of the same name who is Patrick Stewart’s son. Fargo‘s Noah Hawley is behind this series and the press release mentioned there’d be bringing a new sensibility and aesthetic to this show, so expect a lot of the typical superhero to be cut out. Like the time David Haller went back in time and killed his dad or the tiime he went back and time and (possibly) impregnated his mother with himself. I don’t mind if they rewrite a lot Legion as a character, is what I’m saying.
– Kevin Smith delivered his hot take on the whole HydraCap thing, because you were really worried Kevin Smith wouldn’t voice his opinion on something, weren’t you?
– There’s some pretty substantial rumors about what’s going to happen in Thor: Ragnarok and for the sake of spoilers, I’m not going to mention them directly here.
– Michael Bay revealed who the main villain of Transformers: The Last Night is going to be. Like the last link, I won’t directly say what it is here because it’s such a shocker.
– The entire pilot for Preacher is up on Youtube because sometimes life is really good.
