– Donald Glover from just joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming and that sound you’re hearing is 2010 Internet being completely validated. A lot’s changed since that initial #Donald4SpiderMan campaign, not just in Donald Glover’s career but in the meteoric rise of Miles Morales. A lot of fans are looking for Glover to actually be Miles in this upcoming film, considering that the world doesn’t need a third reboot that’s just about Peter. Maybe the first minute of the film is just Tom Holland being brutally murdered so Miles can step in. Maybe the actual Donald Glover shows up and takes over Peter Parker’s life, as seen in the first official on-set photo above.
– Lot of Spider-Man news this week, as Marvel just mentioned that the “Dead No More” thing I willfully forgot about. Whatever their big twist is should be coming out this week, so expect that to be a tumultous thing you’ll read about Bleeding Cool in an hour.
– There was also a trailer for a new Spider-Man game from Insomniac Studios called Spider-Man PS4. Considering the game’s following the same naming convention as Superman 64 it should go great.
– One of J. Michael Stracyznski’s comics, “Rising Stars” is getting a movie adaptation and it’ll be a cold day in a hell when I look up what a J. Michael Stracynski comic is about.
– Looking for a cool indie comic to Indiego, GoFund or Kickstart? Check out the details on Past The Last Mountain, a comic from Paul Allor and Louie Joyce about some fantastical creatures on the run from the US Government.
