In case you missed it, we revealed exclusive previews of next week’s “Ms. Marvel Annual” #1 and “Secret Warps: Soldier Supreme Annual” #1.

– Dark Horse have announced “The Witcher” Omnibus. Based on CD Projekt Red’s critically acclaimed video game fantasy The Witcher (itself based on the books by Andrzej Sapkowski), “The Witcher” Omnibus collects issues #1–#5 of “The Witcher” comic series “House of Glass,” “Fox Children,” “Curse of Crows,” and the “Killing Monsters” one-shot, all written by Paul Tobin (“Avengers Academy”) with art from Joe Querio (“B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth”), Piotr Kowalski (“Sex”), Max Bertolini (Heavy Metal), and additional art by Dave Johnson (“100 Bullets”), Dan Panosian (“Slots”), Stan Sakai (“Usagi Yojimbo”), Duncan Fegredo (“MPH”), and Simon Bisley (“Lobo”). The 440-page softcover collection also features annotations from the creators of the comics, as well as a sketchbook section. “The Witcher” Omnibus goes on sale January 15, 2020, sometime after Netflix’s The Witcher series is released in the fall.

– Newsarama reports that Darth Vader will join the rest of the Marvel universe in “Marvel Comics” #1000. Writer Charles Soule (“Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith”) and artist Terry Dodson (“Star Wars: Princess Leia”) will have a one-page story featured in the 96-page anthology special. It is unclear if this story would be in continuity with Marvel’s comic universe. “Marvel Comics” #1000 will hit comic shelves on August 26, 2019.

– First Second books have revealed a cover to the U.S. edition of Ulysse Malassagne’s French comic book, “Kairos,” due out March 2020. “Kairos” follows the story of Nills and Anaëlle, a young couple who go to stay at an old house where Anaëlle used to live. In the middle of the night, creatures come through the fireplace and take Anaëlle away to a strange world, and Nills follows them in to save his love. Be sure to watch First Second’s Twitter page for more 2020 cover reveals as they come.

CBC has been following creator Rebecca Roher (“Bird in a Cage”) as she works on a project called “One Hundred Year-Old Wisdom.” Over the course of eight months, Roher has been travelling in Europe, interviewing senior citizens aged 90 and up. Meant to be compiled as a book, she regularly publishes short comics of the conversations. Roher says “”What ARE the secrets to long life? I want to know what their answers are!” You can check out the project at her website here.

Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts revealed to ComicBookMovie.com that scenes edited out of the final movie will comprise a short film on the Blu-ray. Entitled Peter’s To-Do List, it will feature a montage of all the things Peter must do before his European trip. Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters July 2, 2019.

– Talking of Spider-Man, Anime News Network reports Kodansha will launch an original Spider-Man manga called “Spider-Man: Fake Red” this summer. The comic will be released on the company’s Pocket Manga app, and will be created by Yusuke Osawa, who won the Marvel Manga Awards competition with a Spider-Man entry last year.

– Deadline reports in an exclusive interview that Michael Chabon will serve as showrunner on CBS All Access’s Star Trek: Picard. Chabon, originally an executive producer, has been part of the core creative team on the series and is working closely on the day-to-day production with fellow executive producers, veteran Star Trek writer/producer Alex Kurtzman, and Akiva Goldsman. Star Trek: Picard will air exclusively on CBS All Access in the US, and will be distributed concurrently internationally by CBS Studios International on Amazon Prime Video.

– ComicBook.com reports that Disney+ has begun production on a brand new movie for the service titled Flora & Ulysses, based on the award-winning children’s book by Kate DiCamillo. Flora & Ulysses follows 10-year-old Flora, an avid comic book fan and a self-avowed cynic, who saves a squirrel she names Ulysses, only to have its unique superhero powers wreak havoc in a series of humorous, antic-filled adventures that ultimately change Flora’s life — and her outlook — forever. Alyson Hannigan (Buffy) will co-star in the movie directed by Lena Khan. Disney+ launches November 12, though Flora & Ulysses has no release date.

– Finally, The Hollywood Reporter says that Marvel has paired with Esports organization Team Liquid for the first collaboration with the world of competitive video games. The new partnership will see Team Liquid’s League of Legends players sporting custom-designed Captain America-themed jerseys during their upcoming July 27 Rift Rivals match. As well as Captain America, there will be Iron Man jerseys and ones based on Avengers: Endgame‘s Quantum Realm suits.
