In case you missed it, Dark Horse Comics announced a new graphic novel entitled “Jia and the Nian Monster,” First Second will publish Gene Luen Yang’s graphic memoir “Dragon Hoops” in March, and BOOM! revealed details on their first “Buffy” and “Angel” comic book crossover.

– The popular manga series “Sailor Moon” was published digitally in English for the first time. Thanks to a partnership between ComiXology and Kodansha Comics, volumes 1-4 of the comic’s Eternal Editions are available for purchase on ComiXology and Kindle, with further editions to be released alongside the print releases.

– A new exhibition tracing the history of fashion in comic books has opened at the Cité Internationale de la Bande Dessinée et de l’Image in Angoulême, France. “Mode et Bande Dessinée” (or, “Fashion and Comic Books”) follows “the birth of comic books in the 19th century to today,” according to the Cité’s director, Pierre Lungheretti. The show will run through January 5th and will feature the main museum show, a reference library, two screening rooms, bookstore, a restaurant and residences where as many as 50 comic book authors are invited to spend from three months to four years working on their latest projects.

– Netflix has ordered 11 episodes for their television adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s “The Sandman.” The series has enlisted Allan Heinberg (Wonder Woman) as showrunner and David S. Goyer (Man of Steel) as a writer: both men will co-write the first episode with Gaiman. There is no announced release date.

– The fourth and final season of Attack on Titan has been announced for October 2020, and a short teaser announcement video has been released. You can see that teaser here.

– The musical group Belle and Sebastian have released a details of their original soundtrack for the upcoming film, Days of the Bagnold Summer. The film is based on the original graphic novel by Joff Winterhart, and follows 15-year-old Daniel as he unexpectedly spends his summer with his mother.

– Skybound Games has announced the official release date for their upcoming The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series. The video game collection contains all four seasons of the previously released Telltale’s The Walking Dead series, as well as the 400 Days DLC, and The Walking Dead: Michonne. The collection is set for release September 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Epic Games Store.

– Finally, the DVD and Blu-Ray home release for season 1 of Doom Patrol will release October 1st, 2019, with a digital release date of August 27th, 2019. According to Newsarama, the release will feature all 15 episodes of the first season, plus a gag reel and deleted scenes.
