In case you missed it, we interviewed “Radd Tuffman” creator Jeremy Brooks, and have exclusive previews of DC’s “Batman Beyond” #34 and “The Terrifics” #18 (both out tomorrow).

– “Chrononauts: Futureshock,” a sequel to Mark Millar and Sean Gordon Murphy’s 2015 series “Chrononauts,” was announced at CBR. “Futureshock,” written by Millar but illustrated by storyboard artist Eric Canete (Aeon Flux, Teen Titans Go) this time, sees Corbin Quinn and Danny Reilly trying to explore the future instead of the past. All four issues of the sequel will be released by Image on October 30.

– Writer/artist Sophie Campbell tweeted she will be writing IDW Publishing’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” from issue #101, and that she will also pencil her first arc. She takes over from writers Tom Waltz and (Turtles co-creator) Kevin Eastman, and artist Michael Dialynas. Campbell has contributed to numerous TMNT comics at Mirage and IDW, including creating the new female Ninja Turtle Jennika. “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” #98 is currently solicited for release on September 25.

– DC released their solicitations for October (and some for November), which revealed a one-shot anthology for this Halloween called “Secrets of Sinister House.” Among the eight stories will be a revisit of Doug Moench and Kelley Jones’s “Batman & Dracula: Red Rain” universe (starring the vampire version of Batman), from Rafael Scavone and Rafael Albuquerque. The 80-page comic goes on sale October 2: for more information, head to DCComics.com, and tune into our Soliciting Multiversity next week.

– Marvel released a teaser for November 2019, captioned “Long Live the King.” The image, which appears to be illustrated by Chris Bachalo, displays a blacked out figure wearing a crown and seated on a throne, which is in turn sitting on what appears to be Doctor Strange’s cloak, and a tentacled, Shuma-Gorath-esque monster.

– AR Post has a report on a new graphic novel and app developed by the New Zealand Ministry of Education, which allows readers to point their phones at the book to see 3D models of its illustrations. The app is called Manawatū, and was launched in Maori schools in conjunction with a historical graphic novel to encourage an interest in reading: its success has meant an English language version is now being developed.

– Wolfe Video released the trailer for Adam, the controversial comedy-drama film based on the prose novel by cartoonist Ariel Schrag. The movie, directed by Rhys Ernst (Transparent) and written by Schrag herself, depicts a teenage cisgender boy dating a lesbian – by posing as a transgender man after she mistakes him for one. Adam will be released in the US on August 14, 2019.

– Finally, Entertainment Weekly reports Elizabeth Tulloch will return as Lois Lane in the CW’s ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ crossover this winter; Susanna Thompson is returning as Oliver Queen’s mother in the Arrow season 8 premiere; and video game developer Microids announced the release date of Blacksad: Under the Skin (based on Juan Díaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido’s talking animal detective comic) has been delayed to November 5, 2019.
