– Marvel movie synergy strikes again! “Thor & Hulk: Champions of the Universe” from Jeremy Whitley, Simone Buanfantino and Alti Firmansyah has been announced in the wake of Thor: Ragnarock’s well received Comic-Con trailer. The book will be a digital exclusive mini-series in the same vein as the recently re-announced “Iron Fists.” It will feature a plot in which an elder of the universe wishes to fight the Earth’s strongest hero, however, Thor and Hulk disagree about who that is. This disagreement will be settled over six months on Comixology and Kindle before being collected for the first time next year.

– In an interview with Collider Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi has stated that the current cut of the film is a hundred minutes long. He said, “It’s not gonna be a very, very long film. I think that stories are better when you leave them wanting more.” This would make Thor: Ragnarok the shortest film in the MCU’s catalogue, a mantel that used to be held by Thor: The Dark World which ran for 112 minutes. Conversely the Russo Brothers have confirmed that the current cut of Avengers: Infinity War is over two and a half hours long, which would make it the longest film in the MCU catalogue.

– According to Deadline, Blade Runner 2049’s Jared Leto is in talks to play Valiant’s Bloodshot in the character’s first live action film. Dave Wilson will direct the film based on a script by Jeff Wadlow and Eric Heisserer. Leto’s previous comic book film experience includes playing the Joker in 2016’s Oscar-Winning Suicide Squad. Bloodshot is set to be the second film, following Harbinger, in a five-picture deal between Valiant and Sony.

Wonder Woman 2 has received an official release date. Variety is reporting that the film will land on December 13, 2019. This seemingly confirms that this film will be going into production next year alongside David Sandberg’s Shazam! and Joss Whedon’s Batgirl. The script is currently being worked on by Geoff Johns and Patty Jenkins.

– “Michael Cray” writer Bryan Edwards Hill has been announced as a series writer on DC’s live action Titans which will premiere on their new digital streaming service. He joins executive producers Geoff Johns, Akiva Goldsman, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, as well as showrunner Greg Walker. Hill has previously written for Ash vs The Evil Dead and currently writes several titles for Top Cow Comics.

– Marvel has released a trailer for Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 which focuses on the video game’s antagonist Kang The Conqueror. The trailer details the setting for the new game, a patchwork city called Chronopolis which is made up of times and places from across the universe. It also shows off the game’s expansive cast of characters such as almost every character in the MCU and She-Hulk.

Tom Felton has yet to book a return to the The Flash. He’s already  not coming back as a series regular, but whereas Floirana Lima is set to return for “multiple episodes” on Supergirl next season, Felton doesn’t seem to be getting even that.

– Disney has announced that they will be converting Hotel New York in Disneyland Paris into Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, the world’s first ever Marvel Comics hotel. Chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Bob Chapek stated, “We are going to make a hotel at Disneyland Paris that would make Tony Stark proud.”
