– Dark Horse have announced “Stranger Things: The Voyage” from writer Michael Moreci, illustrator Todor Hristov, colorist Francesco Segala, and letterer Nate Piekos. The book follows Captain Jacoby aboard the Persephone, who agrees to bring a group of Russians from Alaska back home. The official synopsis reads, “Storms, demogorgons, strange doctors, and more all threaten the crew of the Persephone and their passage in this new series.” Featuring a main cover by Marc Aspinall, “Stranger Things: The Voyage” #1 will be available on November 1, 2023.

– Image have announced the creators behind “Creepshow Volume 2” #3, the anthology based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series. The first story, ‘Eternity, Eternity, Eternity,’ is from Eisner nominee Zoe Thorogood, and follows a woman who discovers the Fountain of Youth. The second, Joel Farrelly and Goran Sudžuka’s ‘Sacrifices,’ tells a story about a gem heist gone bad, “with a Lovecraftian twist.” The comic features a main cover by Guillem March, and will be available on November 8, 2023.

– Via The Bookseller, Tripwire magazine is launching Tripwire Comics Presents, an adult graphic novel imprint, with the release of Joel Meadows and Andy Bennett’s “Sherlock Holmes and the Empire Builders: The Gene Genie” in November. The graphic novel was originally presented in three parts in Tripwire magazine, and crowdfunded on Zoop. The story will follow Watson as he tries to help “unravel the DNA helix,” and ends up working for England’s most evil man. The hardcover graphic novel will be the first part in a two-part series, and features a number of extras, including art by Walt Simonson, Shawn Martinbrough, Liam Sharp, Bill Sienkiewicz and Barry Kitson.

– Sega have announced a promotional campaign for Sonic the Hedgehog entitled Fast Friends Forever. As part of the campaign, Sega will be releasing weekly comics from different artists. The first comic, “Live Without Regrets,” is written and illustrated by OK K.O.! Let’s Be Heroes creator Ian Jones-Quartey, and can be read here. You can also check out the “Fast Friends Forever” website for more.

– Rocksteady Studios have announced the Batman: Arkham Trilogy will be coming to the Nintendo Switch for the first time ever on October 13, 2023. The bundle will include all post-launch DLC and other add-ons that came to each title. Like previous editions of the bundle, Batman: Arkham Origins will not be available on the Switch. The developer also released new artwork Christian Ward featuring characters from each game, which you can see at the link.

– Meanwhile, WB Games have announced DC Universe Online will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Originally launched in 2011, DC Universe Online has been available on a variety of different platforms including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. To make the jump more seamless, when the game arrives on the newer consoles, the servers will remain the same. DC Universe Online will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S some time during the holiday season.

– Finally, via CBS News Philadelphia, in celebration of the upcoming release of Blue Beetle, the Philadelphia Museum of Art has installed some Blue Beetle art on the steps of the museum. In addition to the steps, Philly-based organization The Block Gives Back was recognized with the Blue Beetle Super Hero Award and $5,000 for its work within the community. Blue Beetle hits theaters this Friday.
