– Did Ben Affleck just reveal the outfit for Deathstroke in DC’s films on Twitter? That seems to be what this video confirms as Affleck films what looks to be a costume test for The Terminator. Now, rumours are flying as to whether Deathstroke is going to appear in Justice League next year (my main question about that is: why?) or if this is for Affleck’s Batman film, but it is certainly an interesting way to (potentially) confirm the character. Still, at least this looks better than the hockey pads poor Manu Bennett had to sport in Arrow

– Marvel sure loves their teasers that don’t actually reveal anything, huh? Their newest teaser image confirms that Cullen Bunn and Greg Land are working on something related to the letters “MU” that we’ll see in January 2017. Is this confirmation of “Mission: Unpossible”? Regardless, we’ll find out for sure on September 1 at 6:45pm ET. Watch this space.

– Even though it showcases pretty much the exact same costume as last season, we still have our first poster for the second season of Supergirl. Hopefully we’ll see some footage of the new season soon because I cannot wait for this show to come back to me.

– Speaking of CW, Todd and Aaron Helbing talked to TVLine about The Flash. Specifically, they acknowledged that they felt Season 2 went to darker places than they expected and are hoping to bring the third season back to the tone of the show’s first season. This is news I’m very excited about.

– Finally, Ain’t It Cool News has the scoop on Star Trek: Discovery including the news that the series’ female protagonist will go by “Number One” for most of the season as a nod to the show’s original pilot episode in 1965. Check out the full article for some very interesting details about the series.

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
