– After yesterday’s first look at Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes in Agents Of SHIELD, Marvel has released a found footage-style teaser showing a civilian reacting to the aftermath of the Ghost Rider. This is a cool idea to tie Reyes to the streets of South Los Angeles like in the comics, but the fact that this is just a cropped video of Reyes’ car peeling out with badly processed voice acting over it kind of kills the mood.

– Over at EW, there’s a brand new (and much, much better) look at Tyler Hoechlin as Superman in the upcoming second season of Supergirl along with an interview with Hoechlin about the role. Check it out!

– Speaking of DCTV, Stephen Amell was asked at Salt Lake Comic Con about how he felt regarding another actor potential playing Oliver Queen in DC’s film universe. In a very diplomatic answer, Amell revealed he has no beef over the idea because Green Arrow is a character that exists beyond him and he’s just portraying this version of the character. Interestingly, though, he did reveal that, from what he’s heard, there’s no current plans to use Green Arrow in the films.

– On the other side of the pond, meaning Marvel movie news, the special features of the Captain America: Civil War bluray revealed that Zemo originally had a very different, much more Bond-villain-esque introduction with him buying the ledger at a black market auction before gassing the room. This could have been a cool scene, but was apparently changed to give Zemo a stronger, less mysterious introduction.

– Speaking of Civil War, this video, using clips amassed from the bluray special features, showcases what looks like prototype suit for Tom Holland’s Spider-Man before it was changed for the final product. Notable is the different spider logos as well as the raised webbing, something reminiscent of the suit used in Sam Raimi’s films as well as The Amazing Spider-Man 2. What do you think? Do you wish this was the version we got in the final film?

– Finally, in news that pretty much only I and a handful of others will care about, a new teaser for the third season of Star Wars: Rebels has given us more of a look at Grand Admiral Thrawn and it looks amazing. Focusing on the chilling voice work by Lars Mikkelsen, this season looks to be on a whole other level.

Sworn to protect a world that hates and fears her, Alice W. Castle is a trans femme writing about comics. All things considered, it’s going surprisingly well. Ask her about the unproduced Superman films of 1990 - 2006. She can be found on various corners of the internet, but most frequently on Twitter: @alicewcastle
