In case you missed it, TKO announced “Feeding Dangerously: On the Ground with José Andrés and World Central Kitchen.” We also have an exclusive preview of next week’s ”Star Wars: Darth Vader” #38.

– Marvel has unveiled “Marvel’s Voices: Avengers” #1, due out December 6. This will be the first time Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have been spotlighted as a team in the Marvel’s Voices line. The one-shot will feature four stories from diverse creators: Ghosts star Utkarsh Ambudkar writes an Iron Man story seeing Tony help a struggling supervillain, with art from “Spider-Man: India’s” Tadam Gyadu; “Silk” writer Robbie Thompson and “Storm” artist Sid Kotian will explore Captain America’s values as he battles the Red Skull; TV writer and podcast host Jason Concepcion joins “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” artist Moisés Hidalgo to tell the story of Robbie Reyes’s return as Ghost Rider; and Star Wars author Justina Ireland will team up with artist Karen Darboe to present a tale of Monica Rambeau (aka Photon).
– Spider-Man India will receive a new costume in the fifth and final issue of his current solo series. Fans can catch a glimpse of the new costume when the book hits shelves on October 11 thanks to a variant cover from Doaly. Tadam Gyadu designed the costume, and provides art for the book along with Abhishek Malsuni, while Nikesh Shukla writes.
– Humanoids revealed sci-fi thriller “Eden,” a series starting April 2024. Written from a story by Alain Bismut and Abel Ferry by scripter Christopher Sebela, with art by Marc Laming, colors by Lee Loughridge, and lettering by Troy Peteri, the comic follows Gabe Oximenko, a man seeking to smuggle his family from the dying Earth to the planet Eden. However, when his plan is exposed, “his family must once again fight for survival, but this time far away from home, in the cold vastness of space, with an entire transport ship looking to make sure they never make it to Eden… or anywhere else!”
– Skybound announced the “Creepshow Holiday Special” #1, due out December 6. The holiday-themed one shot, based on the Shudder TV series from Greg Nicotero, includes stories from Daniel Kraus and Jonathan Wayshak, and James Asmus and Letizia Cadobici. Volume two of the comic meanwhile, featuring work from talent such as Garth Ennis, Becky Cloonan, Phil Hester, and Michael Wash, among others, begins next week.
– Dark Horse revealed print releases for several comiXology titles, namely Curt Pires and Alex Diotto’s “Youth” Vol. 3 (releasing May 7), Xavier Saxon’s “Night at the Belfrey” (May 21), and Greg Lockard and Anna David’s “Trick Pony” (June 4, 2024). Additionally, they confirmed a three-part print edition of Scott Snyder and Dan Panosian’s horror western “Canary” will begin on November 1, and the trade will be released on June 11. (The comiXology version of the series itself will conclude with issue #6 on September 26.)
– Lionsgate has bought the distribution rights to the upcoming The Crow reboot. The remake, which was shot in Prague and Munich, was directed by Rupert Sanders, and stars Bill Skarsgård, FKA twigs, and Danny Huston. The studio reportedly purchased the rights for an eight figure cost. The film will be released sometime next year, during the 30th anniversary of the original film, starring the late Brandon Lee.
– The first season of Netflix’s live-action Sandman series will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital this fall. The streamer’s adaptation of the iconic Neil Gaiman DC/Vertigo series will be available to digitally download on September 18, then will get a physical release on November 28. Gaiman developed the series along with David S. Goyer and Allan Heinberg; filming began on a second season earlier this year, although it has gone on hiatus as a result of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
– Spider-Man will celebrate Rosh Hashanah with Ben Grimm as the Fantastic Four’s ever lovin’ blue eyed Thing guest stars on Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends. The episode, titled “An UnBEElievable Rosh Hashanah,” will see Grimm team up with Peter Parker and Miles Morales to stop Gobby (The Green Goblin) from stealing all the bees (jeopardizing the holiday tradition of apples and honey). The episode will debut on the Disney Channel Friday, September 15 at 8:30am, and on Disney Junior at 1pm. It will be available for streaming on Disney+ shortly after.
– Finally, to coincide with the upcoming 30th anniversary release of Batman: Mask of the Phantasm on 4K, YouTuber Serum Lake will release an unofficial commentary track for the animated feature. Upon learning the home release would not feature a commentary track, the YouTube personality reached out to the film’s sequence director Dan Riba, storyboard artist Brad Rader, and Kevin Altieri (who worked as both on the feature.) While the commentary can’t include the entire movie for copyright reasons (viewers will need to sync it up with the film), it will feature never-before-seen illustrations, draft storyboards, and a never-before-seen sequence cut from the final release. Both the 4K release and commentary track will be available on September 12.
