In case you missed it, AfterShock announced century-spanning thriller/romance “Bram Stoker Monster Hunter.” We also had an exclusive preview of next week’s “She-Hulk” #7.

– IDW Publishing announced a prequel graphic novel to the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons film. “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves — The Feast of the Moon” will follow Chris Pine’s bard Edgin as he defends a village from a Bandit King. The creative team includes writers Jeremy Lambert and Ellen Boener, and artists Eduardo Ferigato and Guillermo Sanna. “Feast of the Moon” is set to hit shelves this February, shortly before the film’s release on March 3.

– In more sword-and-sorcery prequel news, Dark Horse will publish “Dragon Age: The Missing” this January. The four-issue miniseries will explore the events leading up to the upcoming game Dreadwolf, which itself just hit a development milestone. It focused on returning companion Varric Tethras, and Inquisition scout Lace Harding, as they travel into the abandoned Deep Roads beneath Marnas Pell. George Mann writes the miniseries, with Kieran McKeown providing art and Mike Atiyeh on colors. This will be the ninth Dragon Age miniseries put out by Dark Horse since 2012. Issue #1 hits shelves on January 25, 2023.

– In other video game comic news, Titan Comics is partnering with Behavior Interactive for a “Dead by Daylight” series, written by Nadia Shammas (“Squire”), with art by Dillon Snook (“Bluefall”). The series will follow the teenage quartet known as “The Legion” as they make their way through what’s left of the world. Issue #1 is due out in March.

– “Quarantine Comix” cartoonist Rachael Smith will tackle the subject of alcoholism in a new graphic memoir, “Glass Half Empty.” The book, due out in January from Icon Books, tackles Smith’s struggles with alcohol addiction after the death of her father.

– Marvel Comics will celebrate the time honored tradition of the “No Prize” with three variant covers this February. Variants for “Amazing Spider-Man” #19 and “Black Panther” #14 will feature photos of actual No Prize envelopes when they hit shelves on the 8th, with “Hulk” #12 doing likewise on the 15th. “No Prizes” (a term coined by Stan Lee) were special rewards sent to readers who could explain away continuity errors in stories. The prize itself typically consisted of an empty envelope, hence the name.

– In Marvel Studios news, journalist Jeff Sneider reported the company is developing a Vision Quest series, that will presumably follow Paul Bettany’s White Vision after the events of WandaVision. Meanwhile, Variety reported The Good Place star William Jackson Harper has a role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, with his role being “a closely guarded secret.” You can watch the trailer for Quantumania here.

Walking Dead star Danai Gurira is co-writing the Michonne spin-off series with showrunner Scott M. Gimple. The spin-off, co-starring a returning Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, is set to begin shooting early 2023, with a premiere date later that year. Gurira, who is a Tony Award-nominated playwright, has called the new series an “epic love story” and a “prestige miniseries.”

– David Tennant is returning to the role of Luther Arkwright in the upcoming audio drama adaptation of 1999’s “Heart of Empire,” based on the dystopian comics from Bryan Talbot. Producers Big Finish released their first Luther Arkwright audio drama box set back in 2005, 18 years before this new adaptation. Heart of Empire is set 23 years after the original, and focuses on Luther’s daughter Victoria (Georgina Hellier). It’s due out in June, but can be preordered on Big Finish’s website.

– Finally, in an email sent to creators on the site, Webtoon announced they would be ending their Creator Rewards Program, moving to a tip and ad revenue-based model starting this February. The program originally began in December 2020, and was only planned to last a single year. The new revenue model is more in line with rival company Tapas.
