– The Hollywood Reporter announced that former iStockphoto CEO Bruce Livingstone will be writing a new graphic novel for BOOM! Studios. – The Hollywood Reporter also reported that Epix has ordered a second season of Pennyworth, which is “the highest-performing original series ever to premiere on Epix,” according to Epix president Michael Wright. The second season will reportedly run 10 episodes, with production beginning in January.

– Newsarama reminded readers to check out Marvel’s “Halloween Avengers” title on this spookiest of days (though you’ll need to be able to read Japanese to get the full effect of the Shueisha/Marvel collaboration). You can find the story on Shonen JUMP+.
– Newsarama also reported a couple pieces of DC Universe and DC-related HBO Max news. The first is that DC Universe’s upcoming Harley Quinn animated series will air just 13 episodes during its first season, despite 26 episodes having been ordered. The second is that HBO Max’s Strange Adventures will seemingly be the superhero anthology series announced via press release, and not the Adam Strange-centric series teased via HBO Max’s Twitter. Harley Quinn premieres on DC Universe November 29, 2019.
