In case you missed it, Dark Horse announced “Panorama” by Michel Fiffe. Image Comics tweeted a teaser image hinting at the return of “Nailbiter” in 2020. Created by Joshua Williamson and Mike Norton, “Nailbiter” centers on a fictional town in Oregon that has produced the worst serial killers in the history of the U.S. The original series ran for 30 issues (plus a special) from May 2014 to March 2017. “Nailbiter” was awarded Best Horror Comic in 2014 by USA Today.

Newsarama provided details about three new stories featured in the anthology title “Batwoman/Supergirl Giant” #1 (due out December 4). The three stories include Batwoman in ‘Faceless’ by Sanya Anwar and Chad Harding; Supergirl in ‘Exit Interview’ by Andrea Shea and Mike Norton, and both Batwoman and Supergirl together in ‘Sister Sister’ by Margaret Stohl and Laura Braga. In addition to the new stories, the 80-page issue will include reprints of “Batwoman” #0, “Batwoman: Rebirth” #1, and “Supergirl: Rebirth” #1.

Newsarama also reported that Diamond Distributors notified retailers that issues #31 and #32 of the Image series “The Beauty” are cancelled and will not be re-solicited. Issue #32, slated for a December release, was the series’ finale. Creators Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley have not commented on the cancellation.

– Comic Book Database notified visitors on their home page that their website will be “closing its doors on December 16th, 2019 as we look towards creating a new and improved tool for collectors to utilize.” Users can log-in and download their collections ahead of the closing. The news comes months after Comic Book Database announced its sale to ComicBook.com.

– In television news, Deadline reports that Sean Bean will join season 2 of TNT’s Snowpiercer as a series regular ahead of the premiere of the first season in Spring 2020. Bean’s role in the show is being kept under wraps. He will be joining co-stars Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs. Production for season 2 is currently underway.

HBO announced on Instagram that the Watchmen television series will get an official podcast with host Craig Mazin and writer Damon Lindelof. The first episode will premiere after the third episode airs this Sunday November 3rd at 10pm EST.

– And finally, TV Line has the exclusive on actor Nick Sagar joining the CW’s Supergirl for season 5 as Rip Roar. Sagar is best known for his role in Freeform’s Shadowhunters. Sagar will make his debut in National City during this Sunday’s episode airing at 9pm EST.
