– The second season of Legends of Tomorrow was just bumped up to 17 episodes, from the originally ordered 13 episode season. The season, even expanded, is still someone truncated from the other CW/DC shows, with Supergirl running 22 episodes and The Flash and Arrow eat having 23.
– “Spy Seal: The British Agent,” a comic that Rich Tommaso created when he was a teenager in 1984, has been announced as an series to be published by Image next year. Tommaso tweeted images of “Spy Seal” back in late October, and the internet sort of freaked out over them, perhaps leading to this series.
– While details are still a bit sparse, it appears that “The Sheriff of Babylon” will be getting a ‘second season’ of the book. Tom King and Mitch Gerards’ series, which wrapped up this month, may change locales, as the teaser that DC sent out just said “Sheriff Of…”
– “Black History In Its Own Words” is a new Image hardcover book due out in February by Ronald Wimberly, where he takes “memorable words” from famous African Americans such as Angela Davis, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kanye West, Zadie Smith, Ice Cube, Dave Chappelle, James Baldwin, and Spike Lee.
– DC announced the new class of their “Artist Talent Workshop,” including Multiversity pal Ibrahim Moustafa. Congrats to Ibrahim and all the others!
– The first clips from Justice League Action are here, and why can’t Cartoon Network announce a US release date already?
