– Dynamite Entertainment is enlisting writer Michael Moreci (“Roche Limit,” “Hoax Hunters”) and artist Breno Tamura (“Batgirl and the Birds of Prey”) for the next installment of “Battlestar Galactica.” The series, titled “Battlestar Galactica: Twilight Command,” is scheduled to begin February 2019. The first issue will feature dual variant covers by Brent Schoonover (“Captain Marvel”) and Breno Tamura (“12 Reasons to Die”).

– Image Comics issued a mandatory product recall of “Dead Rabbit” #1 and #2 over a trademark issue with a New York City bar. Created by writer Gerry Duggan (“Analog,” “Deadpool”) and artist John McCrea (“Mythic,” “Hitman”), the series was first originally published beginning this past October.

– Mammoth Media’s mobile storytelling app, Yarn, will offer dozens of new storylines featuring Marvel superheroes, with the first batch available now. Some of the superheroes fans can expect to see are Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Man, the Avengers, and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

– Lots of Aquaman movie news broke, including a look at the final trailer. Fandango has opened ticket presales for the movie out December 21 and revealed that for a limited time, fans who purchase using their Fandango VIP account will receive five free digital DC comic books. Don’t want to wait until the 21st? If you have an Amazon Prime account, you have the opportunity to buy tickets for an early December 15 screening at 1,000 theaters around the country.

– The first Once Upon a Deadpool trailer offered a look at the PG-13 cut of Deadpool 2, which is hitting theaters this holiday season for a limited engagement.

– Adi Shankar (Castlevania, Devil May Cry) is joining Superman vs. the Ku Klux Klan as a producer. The film is based on the book by Rick Bowers, about the true story behind the radio play “Clan of the Fiery Cross,” in which Superman took on the KKK.

– Finally, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Sony Pictures announced a new partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The movie is out December 14.
