– Tim Burton’s tulpa Johnny Depp will reportedly appear in the sequel to this year’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, according to Deadline. There’s no word or real speculation yet on who Depp will be playing aside from a man who’s very happy that Amber Heard story died down real quick.

– Kevin Feige spoke to Vulture about how Spider-Man: Homecoming is going to be a major step forward in regards to diversity in Marvel’s films. Vulture writer Kyle Buchanan asked what that means if the film’s still going to center around a white kid and Feige proceeded to just strangle him right there in front of everyone. No one said a word or tried to stop him.

– George Romero recently blamed The Walking Dead and the new wave of zombie pop culture for preventing him from making the zombie movies he’d want to make. He also talked at length about how Angry Birds ruined all the mobile gaming movies he wanted to make but that didn’t get nearly as many headlines.

– Want to do something nice for the troops? Jason Inman, co-host of that DC Access show on youtube, is hosting a charity drive for comic books to be sent to soldiers stationed overseas. If you want to be a part of that, check out the video over here.

– Remember Frank Quietly! He’s still around! In fact, he’s writing and producing a film called Nothing to Declare that’s on the homestretch of its production. If you want to help see the film through to completion, you can check out the Indiegogo page here.
