Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– Justice League Action, the newest Cartoon Network/DC show had been oddly not scheduled for a US debut, despite having an international release date. Well, fear not US cartoon lovers, as the show is debuting on December 16 at 6pm on Cartoon Network.
– “Fronteir,” the new Image book written and illustrated by Jonathan Hickman is delayed from its original November release date until ‘the spring.’ Hickman has a pretty impeccable record of always finding the delays in his creator owned books, and this one seems to be following a similar trajectory.
– Michelle Yeoh of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is the latest actor to join Star Trek: Discovery. Yeoh will play a starship captain, but not of the titular ‘Discovery’ ship.
– While he is the most minor of charactrs in the film, many Star Wars fans know Lieutenant Treidum, the character played by Peter Sumner due to his sideburns, who passed away this week at the age of 74.
– So…Lin-Manuel Miranda wants to play Carnage in an MCU movie. Producers, take note: this guy has the golden touch right now. Spiderman: Homecoming 2 should probably have the red symbiote with the giant mouth in it.
– And, finally, the stars of the aforementioned Spiderman: Homecoming visited sick kids yesterday which, ignoring all the bullshit I wrote above, is the only thing of consequence in the comics world today. Good for them.
