– With yesterday being Thanksgiving, there was very little news, but here’s what we were able to find.
– Fox added a bunch of dates to its release calendar, including two dates reserved for two new Marvel-related films, all of which are likely in the X-Men family. November 2, 2018 and February 14, 2019 are the two new dates, which join March 2, 2018 and June 29, 2018 as dates already on the Fox calendar. One additional date was originally on the calendar (October 6, 2017), but that has been removed. The cancelled date was likely reserved for Gambit, which suffered the setback of losing its director earlier this year.
– One of those spots is likely to be filled by the New Mutants film, which is now rumored to be starring Nat Wolff as Cannonball.
– And, finally Kevin Smith wants to see his Superman Lives script re-imagined as an animated film. No word as to how many voices Jason Mewes would legally have to perform.
