In case you missed it, Dark Horse announced a “Toy Story 4” graphic novel anthology.

– The IDW imprint IT’S ALIVE! has launched a Kickstarter to reprint “Battle for Britain” by legendary comic creator and WWII veteran Sam Glanzman. The story, originally printed in “Combat” in 1961, is about the Royal Air Force defending the UK from Nazi Germany’s air force during WWII. Each page has been cleaned and restored to deliver a fantastic visual experience for the readers. You can check out the Kickstarter campaign here. The book will be among the final projects at IT’S ALIVE! at IDW, after they announced they were ending their partnership earlier last month.

– In a press release, DC Comics gave a first look and interview with the creators of the new DC Zoom graphic novel, “Dear Justice League.” The book, written by Michael Northrop (Polaris) and illustrated by Gustavo Duarte (“Lockjaw”), sees the Justice League take the time to respond to questions asked by children. “Dear Justice League” will be available for purchase August 6, 2019.

– The trailer for Star Wars: Galaxy of Adventures, a series of animated shorts that pair brand-new animation with original audio from the theatrical Star Wars movies, was released yesterday. The first six episodes will premier Friday, November 30, on StarWarsKids.com, with more to follow in the months leading up to the release of Star Wars: Episode IX. You can watch the trailer here.

– The digital comic streaming service, ComicBlitz, has reached a deal to be acquired by Cinedigm. Financial specifics regarding the deal have yet to be disclosed, but Cinedigm has said that ComicBlitz could generate over $5 million in revenue within 18-24 months after closing. ComicBlitz offers subscribers access over 10,000 comics from over 30 publishers.

– Humorist and illustrator Jonny Sun will write Paper Lanterns, a live-action/animated hybrid feature recently picked up by Fox Family “that pays homage to Chinese folklore in a way that feels contemporary and fresh.” Sun is most well known for his illustrated novel, everyone’s a aliebn when ur a aliebn too.

– The CW is currently developing a series called Super Clean, based on the upcoming graphic novel, “SuperCLEAN” by Heath Amodio and Cullen Bunn. The show will be written by GLOW co-executive producer Sascha Rothchild, and follows a group of non-powered humans who clean up after superheroes and villains.

– And finally, the cast of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is expanding. Child actress McKenna Grace will guest star as a pre-teen version of the titular character in the show’s holiday special, “A Midwinter’s Tale,” while Alexis Denisof (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Jedidiah Goodacre (Tomorrowland) have been cast in recurring roles for season two of the Netflix series.
