Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.
– Today there will be a new Wonder Woman trailer dropping in front of Dr. Strange, and Warner Bros. released a trailer announcing the trailer. Yeah, I know, I know.
– With the seemingly daily casting announcements for Marvel/Netflix’s The Defenders, IGN has put together a handy guide showing all the confirmed characters thus far.
– Arrow has cast a number of new roles: Talia al Ghul, once a cameo, is now a recurring role (although recast), played by Lexa Doig, a Stargate SG-1 alum. The show has also added Juliana Harkavy (The Walking Dead) as police officer Tina Bolland. And, while not casting, or even news, Hub City – home of the Question, Vic Sage – has been teased on the show as well.
– On the cinematic side of things, it appears that Iris West will be popping up in Justice League.
– Next year, Marvel is going to reprint a 280 page volume of “Night Raven,” featuring stories from Alan Moore, David Lloyd, John Bolton, and more.
– And, finally, Kevin Feige wants Marvel films to ‘move past’ their all white casts. While the intention is a good one, this seems like the type of thing that, if Feige really wanted to change it, he could.
