Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– We knew it was coming in March, but now it is official: Daredevil Season 2 will debut on March 18 on Netflix. Today also saw the release of a new trailer, which doubles down on the religious imagery. If Marvel/Netflix are trying to keep a somewhat regular release schedule, expect to see Luke Cage sometime this fall.
– The Dark Archer was the name of John Barrowman’s character on Arrow when he wasn’t called by his given name (Malcolm Merlyn) and before he became the new Ra’s al Ghul. Well, it is time to tell some of those stories from his pre-League of Assassins days in a new digital comic, co-written by his Barrowman and his sister Carol, with art by Daniel Sampere. I like to see the Arrow universe getting fleshed out in comic form, but there seem to be lots of characters/situations better suited for a digital comic than the Dark Archer, no?
– Speaking of Arrow, it will be lending the Diggle family to The Flash in episode 15 to help hunt down King Shark. Let’s remember how wonderful of a world that we live in that we get to see King Shark on television.
– Apologies to Zach Wilkerson – “Superman: Lois and Clark” is an eight issue miniseries, not an ongoing. Whether this was the plan, and DC purposely left that detail out of the solicitations, or this is a result of less than inspiring sales remains to be seen.
– BOOM! has announced a new Boom Box title by Hope Larson and Brittney Williams. The four issue miniseries, titled “Goldie Vance,” is about a 16 year old detective in training, and is set in a Florida resort.
– And, finally, the “Superior” adaptation now has writers. Thank goodness – it has been far too long since a Mark Millar book head to the silver screen.
