Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at either david@multiversitycomics.com or brian@multiversitycomics.com.

– DC All Access talks with the team of “Batgirl” – co-writers Brenden Fletcher and Cameron Stewart, artist Babs Tarr and editor Mark Doyle – about the huge response to their new direction, the redesign and much more. I am normally not a fan of those webisodes, but this one is pretty interesting because of who appears on it. Also, are they the best looking/dressed creative/editorial team in comics or is that just me?
– David Brothers writes for io9 about why Comic Con 2014 was actually great for comics, and he has some interesting insight into the subject. The gist? Not good for Marvel and DC, but good for everyone else. Well worth a read, for sure.
– Speaking of io9, they also had an article talking about the winners and losers of Comic Con, which included…Comic Con, as they said it was a down year and generally kind of “meh.” I don’t even know WHO to believe now, io9 or io9!
– Actor J.R. Ramirez has been hired to play Ted Grant – aka Wildcat – in the upcoming season of “Arrow”. If the show would like to make me love it more, please have Ratatat’s “Wildcat” play during his first in-costume appearance.
– O hai there “COPRA” collected edition, you want to come home with me? I hope so, as Michel Fiffe shared a look at the final edition he and Adam O. Pruett put together for release at Bergen Street Comics, and by golly, that thing is a beaut.
