– You sick of Deadpool yet? Me too. But 20th Century Fox was having a grand old time, hosting a chimichanga and blowjob shot party in honor of the movie making all of the world’s money, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Weirdly, this is like the fourth tamest Hollywood executive party of all time.
– On Monday it was announced that Vanessa Hudgens was cast in the upcoming DC sitcom, Powerless. Variety is now reporting that nerd favorites Alan Tudyk, Christina Kirk, and Danny Pudi will also be on the show. There’s no word on how the workplace sitcom that takes place in the DC Universe will work out, but I imagine there’s just an episode where Pudi tells the rest of the office that Metropolis was destroyed by Superman and everyon just sits in silence for the rest of the show.
– Jeph Loeb told the press that there’s not a big chance of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher getting his own spin-off series after his debut in the upcoming season of Daredevil. I guess someone at HQ remembered they still have to make Iron Fist a thing.
– Here’s some comic book covers drawn by mid-2000’s rock legend Chris Daughtry. It was a slow news day, okay?
