Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email me at david@multiversitycomics.com.

– Also at The Hollywood Reporter, there’s a preview of Mark Millar and Frank Quitely’s Jupiter’s Legacy. Given that Quitely is a god amongst men when it comes to art, I recommend checking this preview out.
– Sin City 2 is ramping up, and according to Geek Scoop, Eva Green has been cast as the femme fatale in the “A Dame to Kill For” segment. Given that they are looking for someone who has looks that kill (perhaps literally), I can’t really imagine someone who would fit better. Sin City 2 is set to come out in October of this year from Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller.
– Dark Horse continues to expand their Heroes line, as Fred Van Lente and Freddie Williams II are launching “Brain Boy” while Frank Barbiere and Micah Kaneshiro will be the creative team on “Blackout.” While the latter title is a fresh creation from Dark Horse founder Mike Richardson, the former is a previous of an oddball 1960’s teen hero. Check out the article from CBR for more, but for those who have been enjoying Dark Horse’s heroes like “Ghost,” this is news to pay attention to.
– Over at Comic Vine, they noted that Brian Michael Bendis said on Twitter that a sequel to last year’ Spider-Men will happen. Nothing else besides that, but as a fan of that series, I’m excited to see more of Peter Parker (in whatever form) and Miles Morales teaming up.
– Robot 6 shared that the 90’s Inhumans maxi-series from Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee – which was frankly incredible – is getting the motion comic treatment. While it definitely seems like strange timing, Robot 6 noted that Marvel had indicated interest in bringing Inhumans into the Marvel Films realm, and that maybe this could be part of their vaunted Phase 3.
– Finally, in an article that should be safely stashed in the “read with a grain of salt” category, Rich over at Bleeding Cool shared some Marvel and DC gossip. The former includes that Dark Avengers is more or less canceled and that Captain Marvel and Winter Soldier are likely joining it sooner rather than later. Of course, one could easily surmise this from looking at sales numbers and making a few assumptions, but, you know.
He also shares a tweet Rob Liefeld made about DC (we discussed posting it but, you know, that’s more of Rich’s game) in which Liefeld said we should all expect titles for Red Robin, Martian Manhunter, Superman/Batman, DC Comics Presents (which…was just recently canceled) and Brave and the Bold. Likely choices all (besides DCP), but as with most of Bleeding Cool stories, we’ll see if anything develops. Keep your ear to the ground, Rich.
