– Despite not a single person I know still watching, Gotham has been renewed for a third season over at Fox. The show, which has a very mixed critical following, has been a modest hit for Fox, and the news isn’t all that surprising. I still maintain my position, however, that it is Smallville for Batman, in the sense that every element of his entire history will show up before Batman himself will. I wouldn’t be surprised it Bat-Mite showed up at some point.

– The promo photos from the Supergirl/The Flash crossover episode are out, and they are the most adorable and wonderful things you’ve ever seen. It’s Thursday, I’m in love.

– Jason Fuchs, who worked on the upcoming Wonder Woman film, is reportedly working on getting a Lobo movie up and running for DC/WB. I can’t tell if Lobo is the polar opposite or the logical conclusion of Man of Steel. Only time will tell.

– Our pal Michael Moreci has a new book coming out at Z2 called “Indoctrination,” illustrated by newcomer Matt Battaglia. Z2 has been doing some really interesting stuff, so I can’t wait to check this out.

– In preparation for people actually wanting the “Daddy’s Little Monster” shirt that Harley Quinn wears in Suicide Squad, and in their ever-present desire to make money, DC has copyrighted the phrase and is (probably) planning to sell the shirt in a Hot Topic near you.

– This Hot Toys Hawkeye has the best accessory imaginable: an Ant-Man arrow. Yup, you heard me.

– Brent Spiner, aka Data on Star Trek: The Next Generation has joined Justice League Action as the voice of the Riddler. When I was a sophomore in high school, I saw him play John Adams in 1776 on Broadway, which is totally unrelated to comics in any way.

– And, finally, it looks like nominated Supreme Court Justice Merrick Garland is/was a comics fan. I can’t wait for him to drop a sweet Ganthet reference from the bench.
