Welcome back to The Rundown, our daily breakdown on comic news stories we missed from the previous day. Have a link to share? Email our team at rundown@multiversitycomics.com.

– There’s lots of Fox Marvel film news today, so let’s dig right into that. The Wolverine 2, or whatever it will actually be called, has added the interesting duo of Richard E. Grant (Doctor Who, Withnail and I) and Stephen Merchant (Hello Ladies, co-creator of The Office). I really, really hope the film gives Merchant an excuse to step over things, as when he does that I can’t help but crack up.

– In other Fox news (and not the right-leaning cable news network), Tye Sheriden, who is playing Cyclops in X-Men: Apocalypse, has reportedly signed on for 2 more X-films, so get ready for the franchise to continue!

– Over at the MCU portion of Marvel’s film presence, Robert Downey Jr is now saying he has “one more” Iron Man flick in him – or, at least he only has one more until the dumptruck full of money arrives at his front door. Marvel has talked a lot about stars leaving the franchises after a bit, but we’ve seen no such evidence of that as of yet.

– We haven’t done a full piece on the whole Eddie Berganza harassment situation at DC yet, due in part to us having no new, concrete information to add to the discussion. Newsarama, however, did a piece yesterday that reveals some new wrinkles, and it continues to amaze me how this man still has a job.

– “March” – the incredible series of graphic novels about the Civil Rights Movement co-written by Congressman John Lewis – has been optioned for an animated series. Congrats to Lewis, co-writer Andrew Aydin, and illustrator Nate Powell!

– Marvel has revealed who the ‘long awaited return’ will be, and while I won’t spoil it here, if you want to be underwhelmed, click through.

– Speaking of Marvel, they released another piece of their ‘Mosaic’ puzzle and oh wow I actually just fell asleep typing this. I just can’t get excited for whatever this turns out to be in the long run.

– We sort of knew this already, but Grant Morrison and Yanick Paquette are working on a sequel – and possibly sequels – to Wonder Woman: Earth One.

– And, finally, we now know what Thor thinks about not being in Captain America: Civil War.
