– Grant Morrison spoke to the Nerdist about his new gig as “Heavy Metal” Editor in Chief, as well as his upcoming “Wonder Woman: Earth One” OGN with Yanick Paquette. Then, over at Newsarama, they have a recap of a video DC posted with Morrison, where he talks about the upcoming “Multiversity Too” and “Batman: Black and White” projects. Both articles deserve a solid read, but let me say this: thank goodness that DC figured out a way to keep Morrison happy, and still giving him time to do weirdness like edit “Heavy Metal.”

– More details have emerged about what plans were in store for The Amazing Spider-Man 3, and boy does it sound dumb. Supposedly, according to Denis “Captain Stacy” Leary, Peter would have been able to regenerate and/or raise the dead with newly found powers. I’m so sick of Spider-Man reboots, but it is a damn good thing they are rebooting instead of going forward with this. Woof.

– “All-New Inhumans” is going to feature Crystal, making this fan of weird Fantastic Four lineusp quite happy.

– Stan Lee teases a “different” kind of cameo in X-Men: Apocalypse – maybe one that isn’t horribly distracting?

– Michael Ironside is joining the cast of The Flash as the proud papa of Captain Cold and Golden Glider. Fans of Total Recall rejoice!

– Disney is going all in on their new Shanghai resort, which will feature both Marvel and Star Wars exhibits/rides.

– And, finally, IDW just announced a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles board game, with original art by Kevin Eastman. [adds to Amazon wishlist]
