– Since Pokemon Go became a whole thing, there’s been a lot of talk about Hollywood making a Pokemon movie, what with Legendary buying up the franchise’s movie rights. Well, not only is that film still happening it’s going to focus on Detective Pikachu, based on a Japan-exclusive game where a gruff Pikachu solves crimes. Plus, the movie’s being written by Guardians of the Galaxy‘s Nicole Perlman and Gravity Falls‘s Alex Hirsch. I can only hope this means that Detective Pikachu ends up sounding a lot like Grunkle Stan.
– Ray Fisher’s Cyborg is going to appear alongside Exra Miller in his own Flash movie, as a build-up to the Cyborg movie in 2020. That Cyborg movie with feature a cameo from Deadshot for the 2024 Deadshot which features a cameo of King Shark for the King Shark film which features a cameo of Psycho Pirate for
– Ben Queen has stepped away from being Powerless‘s showrunner a few weeks before production was slated to begin. There were apparently some creative differences between Queen and network executives, which made him feel powerless. You try coming up with a punchline for this story.
– Marvel’s “Civil War II” now has a new eight issue they’re calling The Final Vision. I hope it’s a crossover with Tom King’s “Vision” that sees the synthezoid slaughter everyone involved in this crossover in heartless unexciting fashion.
